Chapter 2Todd let go of the wagon flap and watched it flutter closed. He shivered from the air hitting the moisture on his skin as he peeled off wet clothes. Covering his mouth and trying to stifle another cough, he dropped his shirt and jeans into Nick’s outstretched hand. They’d spent half an hour out in the rain getting a cover put up for the horses and making sure they were bedded down and comfortable.
