The two uniformed men from the night before entered, one with a key. He went first to Adam and unlocked his chains. Nick bit his lip to keep from giggling; he had to concentrate very hard to keep the room from swirling around too fast. He slipped off the cot and rested on his knees beside it. Were these morons serious? They were going to unchain him and expected him to follow meekly along with whatever they wanted? Nick sucked back a quick laugh and swayed slightly trying to keep up with the room’s movements as he watched the men release Adam.
