“S’okay.” The day was sunny and a gentle breeze followed them, giving the air enough of a nip Todd zipped his coat closed. When they stepped inside the livery, Todd stopped to let his eyes adjust to the light then looked around for the office. “Half the stalls are empty,” Nick said quietly. Nick did exactly what Todd hoped he’d do, he went right for the closest stall and wiggled his fingers through the bars to pet the horse inside. The place was good sized, with nice, big, box stalls and plenty of light coming through windows. Someone had obviously put a lot of money into it at one time.
