FLASHBACK ON "Hoek!" The pain came almost every month. Her body felt burning, screams came from inside the room. No one wanted to help, only a few pills and liquid medicine were always waiting for her to take every day. Crying and even screaming for help so she could escape from that place. Days passed without the woman realizing it. She became one of the old slaves shown on stage daily. Seeing the masked men grinning cruelly and giving her a price. But in the end, no one could buy her. Because her price was so high. "Why don't I remember anything?" Was there something wrong with her memory? Why didn't she recognize the people she knew in the slightest? If she was indeed an Omega, why was there not a single memory of her friends or parents? "Am I really a Rogue?" Cowering inside the iron bars, she sobbed. Is this punishment from God? Maybe in the past she defied the decisions and rules of her clan leader. Ran away with someone, and now she was stuck in a place like this. Foolishly, one night she throws away all the medicines she was supposed to take for the day. Because she couldn't bear to swallow medicines continuously. The result? "Aghh! My body is hot, please! It's hot!" The scent of Omega was so strong that the heat from inside her body seemed to burn her slowly. She screamed and cried, causing the master to panic. She vaguely saw how the slave trader looked extremely panicked, shouting for his subordinates to open the iron bars. "Let her go, give me the medicine right now! Tsk, this damn woman dares to throw expensive medicine!" The man shouted angrily. Kicking her body so hard, "Ahk!" She almost spit out her entire stomach. "Because of you, we have to leave here!" "If it wasn't for that man's order, how could I accept you here!" She received kick after kick. Sure enough, the next day. She felt her iron bars being loaded onto a large transport car. The slave trading center was immediately shut down, and they moved far away. She heard rumors a few days later. The place was visited by a group of werewolves who went on a rampage and destroyed the entire place. The thought came to her that it was Ashley's scent that made the werewolves come. 'Maybe they smelled my scent and intended to kill me on the spot?' Because she was a rogue, that meant she was an enemy to a certain group of werewolves. Since then, Ashley has never forgotten to take her medicine again. FLASHBACK OFF *** "Ugh, what was that?" Her head ached even more as she tried to recall that strange dream. The first thing she saw when she opened her eyes was the brownish ceiling in the room. What happened? As she remembered, last night she fell unconscious on the floor. Who moved her to the bed? Trying to get up, Ashley's body staggered. Almost falling, she sat on the edge of the bed. Calming herself down first, she tried to recall. "What time is it?" She glanced at the clock on the wall. It was already eight in the morning! Shocked, of course, she immediately got up. "I woke up late!" she squealed, rushing to open the closet and grab her clothes. The maid's bathroom was at the back of this building. So she had to go out first and take turns with the other maids. Trying to open the door, she froze in place. "Wh-what?" Her eyebrows knitted in confusion. Her room was locked from the outside. "Hello, is anyone outside?" Knocked on the door a few times, but no one answered. "Hello! Can you please open the door, why is this room locked?!" Ashley shouted back. In silence, she started to panic. Did she make a mistake yesterday? Though it hadn't been long since she worked at this place, Ashley was already locked up again. "Please open the door!" pleaded Ashley repeatedly. Knocking on the door, she didn't even hesitate to break the object in front of her. No results whatsoever. "Mr. Alexander, did I do something wrong?!" After being released from the iron bars, Ashley had to be locked up again? The only difference was the size of the place. Her heart was racing, scared. "Sir?!" "Tsk, be quiet." After a few minutes of shouting, someone finally answered Ashley's call. A woman out there seemed annoyed by her yelling. "You know, your voice sounded almost all over the mansion," the woman scolded. "If it wasn't for Layla's request, I wouldn't have bothered to bring you food." The door opened moments later. A woman dressed as a maid carried a tray filled with food and medicine that Ashley was familiar with. A beautiful figure with ash-colored eyes stared at Ashley haughtily. She had wavy brownish hair and a perfectly shaped body in a maid's outfit. "Here is your food. Finish it, and then take all these medicines, ‘kay?" She ordered quickly. There was a familiar scent from the woman's body, Ashley knew it well. She simply picked up the tray and went back into the room. "Do you know why I'm locked up like this?" asked Ashley bravely. She could hear the door lock again. The woman stayed in the doorway as if waiting for Ashley to finish her breakfast. She just shrugged, "Don't ask me. Why are you being treated special like this, when we are both Omegas," She snorted in annoyance. Ashley's body froze again. "You, an omega too?" A sexy woman in a tight-fitting maid outfit. As if enviously looking at her, "In this mansion now, there are only five Omegas, including you. This is the first time I've delivered food to a fellow Omega and a maid." Cold and flat. Shaking her long hair, she said, "Hurry up and finish your food and medicine. I still have a lot of work to do." Unlike the friendly Layla, this woman was the opposite. The first Omega she met in the mansion. Unfortunately, Ashley was already immune to dealing with people like her. "Are you also asked to take this much medicine?" asked Ashley, not afraid at all. Bending her eyebrows at a glance, "No. Why would I take medicine? I'm not sick. What are you sick of?" The woman asked back. Just as Ashley was about to answer, "Why would Mr. Alexander want to buy a sickly Omega like you?" The woman continued her harsh sentence. "I don't know," She replied simply. Rushing to take her medicine, it only took Ashley fifteen minutes to finish her meal. She just realized that the woman in front of her had been looking at her for a while. "Is it true that Mr. Alex asked Layla to cut off all your hair?" She grinned slightly. "That's a shame, I see your hair color is quite rare among the other omegas I've met," she continued. Pausing and staring back at the woman, "What do you think it is that I have to be locked up like this? Does Mr. Alexander consider me valuable or dangerous?" Thin and low, the whispered voice was able to make the woman in front of her freeze. A slight chill ran down her spine when she saw Ashley's expression. "Tsk, mind your manners here! I was only asked to bring this food," picking up the tray on Ashley's lap. "Don't even think about running away. Understand?!" She snapped quickly. Intended to get out of there, but Ashley moved faster. Pulling on the woman's clothes, she said, "Why can't I come out? Are you able to get me to Mr. Alexander?" "I don't know! Let go of your hand!" "I work here, not as a guest or a prisoner!" snapped Ashley again. Her grip was tight. "Tsk, noisy!" "Do you think we Omegas have the right to protest?! Just accept your punishment!" She slapped Ashley's hand away. Sighing in annoyance, the woman rushed out and closed the door tightly. Even before Ashley could defend herself and try to run away from there, She was too late. "I need to at least know the reason!" She shouted quickly. No one answered. The woman just walked away. Leaving her alone. Hoping to find a new life in this place. Instead, Ashley was back to her old self, a prisoner unable to go anywhere. *** New York - 1:00 p.m. "Hh, you're really reckless, sir." The glasses-wearing figure let out a long sigh almost ten times today. Seeing his master's reckless attitude. The figure with jet-black hair and gray-blue eyes stared at the assistant. "You should know why I'm behaving like this," the man said. His stern jaw seemed to harden even for a moment, his large, well-proportioned body displaying the muscles beneath the black suit. "I know, sir. You didn't even have time to say goodbye to the young master, what if he finds out you left without permission?" He sighed, imagining the little boy raging and crying when he found out his father wasn't at the mansion. "He's all grown up, Arthur. There's no need to exaggerate things like that." Shaking and tapping his head, "Oh my. The young master is only 6 years old, Mr. Atlas. It's natural that his nature is still childish. Moreover, in the mansion, he‘s so spoiled by all your subordinates." Pampered by all of his father's subordinates but received quite cold treatment from his own father. It was enough to put a strain on the relationship between the two of them. He could understand how his little young master always tried to be close and follow wherever his father went. Thirsty for affection and nowhere for him to lean on. "I can't keep spoiling him. Leon has to learn that, didn't I ask your eldest son to be his playmate?" The conversation continued on the train. "The roles of father and playmate are different, sir," Arthur said again, shaking his head. Giving the master a glance, "Are you sure that the scent you smelled came from her?" He asked again. "Do you doubt my sense of smell?" "Of course not." "It's been almost years since I memorized the scent of my woman, Arthur. I can't possibly forget." The well-built man snorted bitterly. "But the fact is that every time we come to the place you want, there is no one there. Her scent and presence are also gone." Arthur replied back. This time his master's expression hardened, his eyes seemingly burning with emotion. Hands clenched tightly, "That means someone is intentionally hiding her from me." "If I ever find out who's behind what happened a few years ago, I won't hesitate to kill him." Sharp fangs were clearly visible between his lips, and a dense and powerful aura was rapidly emanating. The waitress who accidentally passed by them immediately fell weak right after smelling the man's pheromone. Not only the waitress but several Omega and Beta who happened to be in the same carriage experienced the same thing. Arthur sighed, "Hh, sir, please control your aura. What if the whole passenger faints because of that," He said quickly.
