Esther's POV
I opened my eyes gently as the bright sun's rays projected at my face. I rolled back and forth, stretching and yawning. It has been a year of being divorced, and my life has changed completely. Changed for good.
I'm officially taking over my father's company, after a year of dedication and determination, a year of mastering all that I needed to know.
I have anticipated this day for a long time, the day I would resume office as the CEO of ‘Mave Company Limited.’
I stood up and headed to the bathroom. I fill the tub with steaming water, its rising tendrils of warmth curling around me. I sank into its embrace, feeling the heat melt the previous day's tension from my body.
