Chapter Three

FLASHBACK (Continued)

The vampires complained to Dante, asking him why he would bring in a human when he knows how hard they're all trying to stay away from humans so they don't have to feed on them.They told him she couldn't stay because she was going to cause trouble and make things difficult for them. Mariam, who was behind the door, heard everything and came out to meet them."I Don't Have any family left.I'm Alone, and no one would look for me.If being human will put all of you in trouble, then you can turn me into a vampire as well," she said. They all looked at her, their faces covered in shock.Unable to say anything for what seemed like forever, Dante broke the silence and told them that he loves her very much and he's not willing to mark her nor ask her to leave.He looked at them, his eyes filled with emotions, and he begged them to understand.Theyall stood there watching as he took Mariam back into the room.ThenJace,one of the vampires, broke the silence after a while and told them to try their best to avoid her if they couldn't suppress their hunger around her.After he said that, he left. They all departed one after the other. That night, Dante and Mariam were in their room, talking and laughing, and suddenly they became quiet. He stared at Mariam’s lips and then her eyes.He moved closer to her, and she looked at him in the eyes.He held her face in his palm, gently caressing her face and kissing her face at the same time. She closed her eyes and was just enjoying the moment when suddenly the door opened. They stopped and looked at the door, but nobody was seen there. Dante got up to go out, but Jace came to tell them there was no problem. Mariam looked at Dante with relief written all over her face; she smiled. "Back to what we were doing?" Dante said, smiling seductively. Mariam couldn’t help but blush. She put her hands around his neck and brought her lips gently towards him for a kiss. He took her lips into his and kissed her passionately.It got intense before she knew it,and he was engulfing her already;she was breathing so hard, and he was already losing his mind. He kissed her down to her chest, her breasts, and down to her underwear.He pulled her dress, and he could feel her hard breasts on his body.She was getting hot and was already moaning loudly. He whispered into her ear, asking if he should stop, she said,"No," breathing so hard. He pulled her pants down, and they started making out passionately.He was thrusting so fast and hard that she could hardly breathe. She held onto him tightly, asking for more. They were both sweating profusely, but that didn’t stop them; he kept going until he could no longer feel his waist.Even after all that, he could tell that she still wanted more.He looked at her,smiling, while she looked away shyly.Then he stopped, gave her a kiss on the forehead, and then pulled her closer. They were both very tired, so they slept after a while. They continued to live their lives, and after some time, the other vampires got used to her a bit. She got pregnant a month after. Dante was very happy about this news, and he started taking extra care of Mariam. One night, heavy rain started, and Mariam went into labor. Dante called for midwives in their area who weren’t vampires. Mariam’s delivery wasn’t an easy one; she kept losing blood, and Dante couldn't help but be scared. After about one hour, she finally gave birth to a boy.She told one of the midwives to call her husband after the bloodwash cleaned.Dante came into the room; he saw his baby, tears streaming down his cheeks as he walked up to him and carried him in his hands.He bent over to Mariam, gave her a kiss, and thanked her.After This, Mariam gave him her necklace and begged Dante to take care of their son and protect him at all costs; she gave up the ghost after saying those words.

Dante,who couldn't accept this, urged the midwives to do something.He wailed, holding her body tightly, begging and asking her to come back. The midwives calmly told him there was nothing they could do. He looked at the baby in his hands and wondered how he would take care of him. Life started going back to normal for them, and they were trying to forget about Mariam's death.Herson,Luca, was also growing up well, and they made sure they treated him like every normal human.They gave him food and meat, even though he couldn't eat something like that; he never tasted blood.

Back To The Present.

Dante looked at Lucian with disgust written all over his face. "If not for you, I would have been living a normal and better life!" he yelled, but Lucian laughed loudly. “I gave you an everlasting life, which is better, but you don’t like it?”he asked.“Don’t be ungrateful,” he said. “Why are you here?” Dante asked him. "I follow you around like a shadow, monitoring your every move, and I followed you to the werewolves' base as well," hearing this, Dante’s eyes brightened in shock, and he suddenly realized that he was the reason the woman was attacked.Furious, he dashed towards Lucian in an attempt to hit him, but he was quick to throw Dante into the air.Shocked about how easy it was for him to throw Dante, he asked him if he had been feeding at all. Dante got up, cleaned his mouth, and ran towards him again, but this time, Lucian pinned him to the wall, holding his neck tightly. Dante couldn’t breathe; he tried to push Lucian, but he was not in any way as strong as Lucian,so he just kept dangling in the air.After a while, Lucian dropped him on the floor, and the only thing he said to Dante before leaving was “you’re too weak.” Dante looked at him as he walked away, tears running down his cheeks, knowing well that he was the reason the werewolves were attacked and the head of their pack was killed.

VAMPIRE’S COURT

They were all gathered that night, waiting for their seer, who was the oldest vampire to ever live. While waiting, the vampires were complaining about how the werewolves had been killing them nonstop. They didn’t have any plans, and it was as if they were even too weak to fight them. After voicing out their fears and thoughts, the seer came in, and they all stood to greet her. The room became quiet, and she told them to sit. “I’ve seen the future,” she said,“and it will be very destructive if you all are not careful. A girl has been chosen by and anointed as the strongest ever in the werewolf world, and she will bring the vampires down,” she said loudly. Cold shivers ran down their bodies as they sat there, feeling confused.
