Chapter 17

TORTURE HOUSE*

"Arggghh!!!!!!!!" Malik's pain-loaded shriek filled the house as he received heavy shots of torture from Madden.

His other siblings might prefer the acid or nail room to torture sinners, but he prefers melting out the torture by himself, and that's why he uses the only empty room in the house.

Right now, Malik is chained to the iron chair, and the chain is already digging into his skin cos of the tightness.

There's a deep stab on his chest already, made from Madden's knife.

Madden is in front of him, his face stained with Malik's blood as he held the knife savagely.

There's a cup on his other hand.

"Please!! Please please!!!!" Malik begged again, and Madden thrusted the knife into his chest for the seventh time.

"Arhhhhhh!!!!!" His scream of anguish resumed as his blood rushed out.

Madden placed the cup on his chest, collecting the blood them bringing it to his lips.

Malik opened his mouth painfully, drinking all the blood, but as he drank, the blood came out through the stabbed part of his chest

That's what Madden has been doing since the start of this torture.

Stabbing him, collecting his blood and making him drink, making him bleed, then stabbing him again.

Madden stabbed him for the eighth time, and Malik's cries bursted bitterly.

Adeline stood by the door with Loud, her eyes filled with pity for him.

Malik has always been an arsehole, but seeing him like this is pitiful.

Loud has a neutral look on his face, and it's hard to decipher weather he's enjoying this or not.

Sin and Trixie are behind them, and they both have big smiles on their faces as they watched their brother.

Soon enough, Maya joined them

She walked past Adeline, smiling creepily as she entered the room.

Adeline couldn't help but catch her scent.

She has the lavender smell from the candles in her room, and it fits her perfectly.

Immediately she got in, Igor appeared with Andrei.

Andrei didn't enter with him though, so he went in alone.

"Stop your madness, Madden!" He yelled, and Madden dropped the knife and cup on the ground before facing him.

"Finally you're here, brother" he said expressionlessly, walking to him.

"Who said you could use my knife? When did you even steal it?" Maya glared, picking the bloody knife from the ground.

"Not sorry, I was in dire need of it" Madden smirked at her, and her expression changed immediately.

She made to jam the knife into Malik's neck...

"Maya!!! Maya don't!" Igor shouted, and she laughed before dropping the hand.

"That scared you, didn't it?"

"Bloody psychos! You both!" Igor seethed, glaring madly at Madden and Maya.

"Thanks for recognizing the freak, but the amusing thing here is you recognizing it and still going ahead to try this. I'm 28 and you're 30. I expect you to be wiser, so stop getting on my bloody nerves or i won't be this nice next time. It's a sound warning" Madden glared then stormed out of the room.

As he walked past Adeline, their eyes met, and she noticed the bruises on his face.

"Respect! Big bro!" Sin said jovially.

"I love you Madd!" Trixie blew him kisses which he made sour faces at.

He finally went out completely, and Loud leaned in to Adeline's ear.

"Heard he intentionally let them beat him before showing himself. Your master is a madman, don't you think?" He whispered, and Adeline sighed.

Inside the room, Maya is still with Malik who's already unconscious on the chair, and Igor is still boiling with rage.

Maya took a thorough look at Malik before facing him.

"Death knowingly stabbed him in the non-vital spots. He'll survive, I don't think he had plans to kill him" she said and patted his shoulder just to annoy him before leaving.

She glared at Andrei by the door as she went out of sight.

"Get him to the clinic" Igor ordered, and Andrei immediately unchained Malik, carrying him on his back and running out of the room.

Igor followed, and Adeline made to leave too, but she bumped into Trixie, and the necklace hanging on Trixie's neck fell.

"I'm so sorry!" Adeline quickly picked it and returned it to her.

Trixie literally snatched it and opened the locket pendant. There's a small picture of Corey inside.

Immediately she saw it's intact, she sighed and faced Adeline.

"It's all good" she said, leaving with Sin.

"Must be a valuable treasure" Adeline said, leaving with Loud too.

"Who knows? She has always treated that necklace with care" Loud shrugged.

They didn't go straight to the residence, they went to the kitchen where they met several food of choices waiting in warming glasses.

"Isn't it weird that I've never met the lady in charge of this kitchen? Her meals make too much sense" Adeline said as she got some thick pancakes, honey and cola.

Loud got the same thing then added an extra tray for Nikolai.

"You'll meet the kitchen lady soon, she's not always around" he said as they left the kitchen.

"But don't you think you should think of ways to make your master soften towards you?" He suddenly said.

"Like what?" Adeline faced him.

"The bruises on his face, if you could squeeze your way into the clinic without Igor's knowledge and get him treatments. He might reward you, who knows?" Loud suggested.

"I don't even need to break into the clinic. My balm is effective, my neck is back to normal, check it out" Adeline showed him the neck.

"On point" he smiled, and Adeline returned it as they entered their residence.
