Aria froze in her place, her eyes locking onto the figure standing at the door.
Vincent.
His menacing, dark eyes made her heart skip a beat in fear. The weight of her mistake crashed over her, and her hands trembled.
The professor stopped. Vincent’s legs moved inside the classroom with terrifying authority, his aura silencing everything in the room.
Vincent moved toward Aria. Each slow step he took made her heart flutter in terror; his footsteps sounded like thunderclaps in her ears.
“Stand up,” he commanded in a dangerous voice.
Aria felt her body getting stuck in place, but his ferocious eyes forced her to obey. Her body trembled, and before she could understand anything, his hand shot out, gripping her arm in an iron-tight hold and pulling her from her seat.
