My eyes fluttered open slowly at the throbbing ache spreading through my lower abdomen. I felt my body heavy, and the ache in my lower back made it worse.
I tried to shift my body or turn around, but a sharp jolt of pain hit my lower abdomen, making me gasp.
My body felt heavy, and the cramping pain in my lower back made it worse.
Tears started to form in my eyes, prickling at the corners. My stomach twisted painfully, as if someone was punching from inside. Sweat started to form on my body, my throat felt dry like a desert.
I tried to move my lips, but I couldn’t speak, as if I hadn’t spoken in days.
