Dinner was delicious, though I had to exchange my food with Max. Mine initially had celery and I couldn’t eat celery. I wanted to exchange with Damian, but his had basil, which I couldn’t eat also.
I knew Damian was not really happy about it, but he let this slide rather than see me not eating anything.
“Baby girl, is my phone with you?” Damian asked as he finished eating.
“No, I just bring my phone here. Do you need to use it?” I glanced at him.
“I need to call my mom.” He stood up to leave.
I stood up automatically to follow him, but he stopped me.
“Finish your meal, Baby girl. I won’t be long.” He kissed me before he left.
He was just two steps away when he stopped in his track and turned around to face us again. “No one touches my wife, or I’ll break your arms. Understood?”
