Chapter 16 My surroundings fade back into awareness as the initial shock subsides. Irian is grinning. “Explain,” I demand. “I apologize,” Irian says, laughing. “I don’t often see people look that horrified.” “Are you going to explain or not?” “You knew them, didn’t you?” No. It can’t be them.
