An hour ago, in the middle of the cold weather, Ashera was packing her things up, her clothes and personal belongings, and blatantly stuffed them all in her suitcase. She ought to drive off by herself but rather called a cab than bothering to get a sight of their family spare vehicle. It would only open up the wound in her heart, that is neither healed nor easeed. “To the nearest train station, please.” She told the cab driver, after settling behind the passenger’s seat.
It’s already 2 o’clock in the afternoon, yet no sign of the sun rising up, lighting and melting up the overwhelming amount of snow dropping around. Ashera leaned her head against the windshield of the cab, whilst fixing her gaze outside. Was trying to figure out in her mind where she really and what she really ought to do. She has not have a bit of a clue. All she has with her is the determination of finding that lady Ofelia - T in the countryside. Right near the southern roadway to the woods.
As she closed her eyes to finally shut her vision and consciousness out the world, her phone rang. ‘Might be Heilta. Haven’t said a word to her before leaving in the first place.’ She reached for the phone in her pocket and hit the green button, answering the phone call. “Hello, Heilta, what’ up?” Ashera knows well that her bestfriend will be dead seriously mad of her for she told Heilta none of a thing about her plan of exploring the woods. Having her hopes high in finding this Ofelia - T lady.
“Ashera, where are you? I have dropped by your house and you are nowhere to be seen, even some of your stuff are gone. Are you alright? Lass, I swear madness shan’t surpass you for I ought to mourn more than two, not now, not ever.” She could visualize the worried look that Heilta is projecting right now with the tone of her concerned voice. However, it is too late to retreat, no way. “I am alright, am on my way to my aunt’s place. You know, that one relative my parents visited before the accident happened. I want to know what really happened there, for it is unlikely that an accident would occur in such wide and safe zone road area. I will be back in a few days so don’t worry.” Ashera let out a low sigh after finishing her words. Thus she is certain that her friend is not happy with it. “What? You could have told me earlier so I could have went on with you or perhaps like that. Do you even know where to find your Aunt?” Ashera had seen it coming from Heilta. Knowing that she never talked anything about her relatives since they were younger. “Yes, I do. I found a letter sent by my aunt to my parents and the address is stated there.” She lied. She’s not even near certain that the sender of the letter is her Aunt.
What if it was merely a trap, a scam, a deceiving matter? Yes, Ashera had her imagination went beyond what is there to be imagined just to validate her insane thoughts and uncalculated spectaculations of the situation. Which, led her to baseless conclusions. “Alright then, I can do nothing about it since you have done it yourself already. Was just a bit distressed considering you might been lying about your aunt since you never mentioned any, but then it is a hotsy-totsy now. Beep me when you get there and please be careful Ashera. Remember, I ought not to mourn two now.” Indeed, lying to her friend was not her intention but it is the only way to make her friend be less worried about her at the moment. So does Ashera ended the phone call after the cab driver called her attention, notifying her that they already arrived at the train station.
As the crowd of people went wilder whilst approaching the entrance of the train station, indistinct chatterings’s filling Ashera’s hearing. It took her all the sideways fitting and pushing and sliding through people just to get inside the train. When she finally got to sit in the seat near the window side, Ashera took a deep breath and let out a sigh of relief. It was still snowing like cats and dogs outside but not heavier than it was before. Seems like the snow will soon fade. Mountains, roads, trees, and even the skies were rather of perception more than the coverage of the rampaging snow, filling the entire surrounding like one massive canopy.
“Excuse me, miss. Do you mind if I sit next to you?” Ashera turned to face the owner of the voice who just spoke. A young man of more than six feet tall, she assume, stands before the seat next to hers. He’s of manly built and of gorgeous appearance. Boldly arced thick eyebrows, grey eyes, well built attractive nose, a full heart lips. Such sight to see it is. Ashera’s eyes nonchalantly wandered from the man’s face down to his fingers, and damn his fingers sure are length of heaven. ‘Gosh, such tempting sight to see. His fingers sure are adorable. And, look at those veins under his pale skin.’ Ashera’s stomach tickled by the rubbish thoughts she gets from looking at the man before her. ‘Seems like an actor to me. No, perhaps a model.’ she thought. The man cleared his throat to call for Ashera’s attention. “Oh, I beg your pardon. I must have been staring for quite long, silly me. Please, feel free to take a sit.” She said, looking away, slightly embarrassed. She has been staring for quite long, indeed. She was just too captivated of the man’s beautiful feature that she forgot to respond to his query. “Please, mind it not for I shall not as well. Am flattered, thank you.” The man sat down beside her, smiling warmly to her so does she returned it with the same warmth.
