CHAPTER 2
I walked towards the exit with my eyes widened to the atmosphere. There was a smell of blood every where, but not a single corpse I saw. This kept me wondering, everything seemed like a dream to me.
At a point , I saw half eaten fruits piled up in one place. With curiosity I kept on walking afar from home ,roaming eyes around in perplexity. My intention was to get to the 'orori' cave to find my people.
What I encountered was more than horrifying. I saw a shadow of a man behind me. Thinking it was a person I could know, I snappily tilted my head back. But what shocked me most was that the shadow vanished. I was sure of what my eyes saw, it was a human shadow behind me. But I chose to ignore and kept on walking.
Near to the 'orori' cave,I sighted many vehicles. Cars of different kinds, motorcycles etc were all there. But not even a single soul I met. This was far from something I could comprehend. Without hesitation, I droned nearer to the cave.
The secret of "Orori" was what I never knew. The cave was intitially guarded by seven spiritualist who never allowed any person walked inside. They said it was the place where the spirit of the sun rested. Not even a single person in my community had entered before .According to folklore, the secret history of this cave was connected to the birth of our people. That was why we were named the people of 'orori'
Now where are those people from the society. There, I saw clearly the cave, not guarded by any one, freed to be entered. But not those who came here to rejoice with it were found closer to it.
I gasped energetically at this morass I found myself.
"Where would I go to find them? How many more days do I have to live alone before finding my people ?' This was a thought that struck my heart.
I knelt at the front of the cave, staring at it for long time. If I waited for extra days without finding my family members and my people, then I would have to break the restriction into that cave. All my plans were deposited in my heart for future use. I knew what to do next. But at that moment, I needed to obey one proverb.
"A patient dog eats the fattest bone."
