Chapter Fifty-Four

ETHAN'S POV

"She really isn't talking to you?" I say to Sid whilst Sienna is in with Sue seeing my mum.

"Nope, I was really surprised how close Jordan and Sienna are. I thought when she came back Jordan would see her a stranger. But I'm telling you there as thick and thief's together. They were insuperable the whole time even through dinner. The little bigger even ate his vegetables for aunty's Sienna. Wish he would eat them for me and Maria. I couldn't get a moment alone with Sienna to try thrash it out" Sid says

"If it helps from the small bits she said to me regarding you and Charlie and anyone who doubts her on the flight back she wants to have what we had before. She just feels time is what is needed. Maybe she is showing you instead of talking about it" I say

"I couldn't not say anything but now I feel like maybe I went overboard. I should of had a gentler word alone not dragged Harry and Charlie into it" Sid says

"I don't think that's what the biggest issue is. I think its what was said in the group chat right before she left the group" I say

"I will be right back Amy, I just need to go over a few things concerning patients with Tilly, I forgot to email her the details because Ethan distracted me the whole flight back" Sienna says opening the door

"Don't worry, I understand. I'm glad to offer seen you. Tell Tilly I said hi" I hear my mum say.

"Hi Amy, make sure your resting" We hear Tillys voice come from the phone and I realise Tilly is on a video call with Sienna.

Sienna leave the room smiles at me and say "This won't take long. Your mum needs fresh water though. I'm also going to speak with a nurse about adjusting her pain medication" Sienna says stopping next to me quickly.

"She isn't in pain is she?" Amy asks

"No, I think she is ready to have it lowered a little more. She seems very sleepy and out of it" Sienna says

"Let her have same until the morning. More sleep the better but then reduce. I do agree though we should work towards standards pain medication to get her home soon" Tilly says

"I will get the water" I say.

"Okay, I will be back in a moment" Sienna says leaning up to kiss my cheek then walks off as she continues talking with Tilly

"So does that mean you two are something now?" Sid asks.

"Yes" I say happily as I watch Sienna walk o to a empty room.

"About time to" Sid says patting my back.

"I best get some water. You coming or are you going?" I ask.

"I will help you" Sid says

"Okay" I say

"Charlie said Sienna still hasn't answered his messages or calls" Sid says as we walk down to the shops.

"I wouldn't know, Sienna hasn't said anything to me" I say

"Harry said she has rang him a few times and reply to his messages. So I think your right we messed up with the messages in the group chat. When Sienna came back I thought it would be like old times again however I feel I messed that up" Sid says.

"Give it time. And if by the time my mum is on her feet there isn't any improvements then I shall try to help but for now you and Charlie need to try yourself" I say

"Sorry, you have a lot going on and here is me unloading on you. How are you holding up?" Sid says

"I'm actually good. My mum is on the mend. Sienna is back and officially we are together the business is great so I only see the future going well" I say happily.

"I'm happy for you I really am. It was bleak there for a moment but suddenly its coming together at once. The break you deserved" Sid says as I pick up loads of bottles of water for my mum.

"How's your dad holding up?" Sid asks

"He is so happy that mum is on the mend. she just can't wait to get her home. He had a cleaner go in and deep clean everything at the house already" I say

"I thought I heard your voice" Harry says walking towards us and I'm paying at the self checkout with a sandwich meal deal in hand.

"How come your here?" I ask.

"Came to see you and check in on your mum why else?" Harry says going to self service next to mine.

"I dunno, oh by the way whats this I hear you brought my mum flowers. Your not a flower giving person really" I say

"Well, I was hoping to catch Tilly and them as a thank you for all she has done. But I missed her and knew your mum would appreciate them. After all you loaded her with loads already and never thought to get Tilly any" Harry says tapping his card to pay.

"Uh, I made sure she didn't have to pay flights home. I also actually gifted her flowers by having them sent to her work back in Ireland when she goes back in. I figured they would last longer" I say laughing

"Are you sure it was just to say thanks.. Come on tell us you like Tilly don't you, you took a nice shine to her when she was here" Sid says Teasing Harry.

"She is very nice indeed and yeah I suppose I'd say I'd date her. But I was also just looking out for Tilly per Siennas request since Ethan had enough on his plate and well you and Charlie upset Sienna" Harry retorts.

"Where is Charlie. I haven't seen him since I've been back which us surprising because he barely left my side the most this past week" I say

"Will has kidnapped him. He messaged saying Charlie is really upset that Sienna isn't talking to him now so he has taken him away for the night as a surprise to cheer him up. I said I'd let you both know so you don't message but I forgot until you just asked" Harry says.

"Oh did they go anywhere nice?" I ask.

"Just some fancy hotel and theatre thing" Harry says.

"I think Will wanted the night out more than Charlie" Sid says laughing

"I agree Charlie isn't a massive fan of the theatre after all" I say

SIENNA'S POV

"That would be great. Tilly also reminded to me remind you any questions or concerns just give her a ring day or" I'm saying until I hear.

"Ah, Sienna I heard you were in town" I hear Mary-Ann say behind me.

"Mary-Ann so good to see you again. How are you doing?" I ask turning around.

"Great, be better of your start sooner so I can retire earlier knowing this place is in excellent hands" Mary-ann says hugging me.

"I will see what I can do but I owe my family a lot of me time as well. I will try my best to start a day or two earlier if you really want to miss what I'm assuming would be a epic retirement party" I say

"As far as I'm aware there isn't one, have you heard anything?" Mary-Ann asks.

"Not a peep, but if I do I will give you the heads up" I say

"Good, How's your patient?" Mary-Ann asks.

"Doing great, thank you again for allowing me and Tilly to pop in before we officially start" I say

"Well anytime if you need anything else before you start just let me know. Oh by the way I do have a interesting case thats popped up today and I would really value your opion. I've not come across it before myself. When would you by any chance have a moment free?" Mary-Ann asks

"If your in tomorrow I can come find you as I plan to Visit Amy again" I say

"Well i have surgery in the afternoon but otherwise I will be about all day" Mary-Ann says.

"Okay, then I shall see you tomorrow" I say

"Thanks. I really have to go ward rounds to do" Mary-Ann says

"Okay, catch you tomorrow" I say and Mary-Ann continues her rounds.

"Sorry, where were we" I say speaking with the nurse again.

"Ring Tilly day or night" The nurse says

"Oh, yeah. If you can't get hold of her feel free to get hold of me I have other numbers to contact her on.. thanks again and I hope your shift goes well" I say

"Thanks. have a good evening yourself. Please remind everyone that I will come along to shoo them all away soon as Amy will need rest" she says

"I will don't worry" I say and with that I head back to see Amy.

"I have good and bad news Amy, which would you like to hear first" I say walking into the room.

"Whats happened, whats wrong with Amy?" Ben asks worried.

"Oh, not that type of bad. Sorry, to scare you like that" I say walking to the end of Amys bed as everyone is crammed in at the sides

"Well let's get the bad news out the way first before my husband is next door from a heart attack" Amy says

"Well the nurse has warned me she is coming to kick everyone out soon so you can rest. The good news is I will come see you again tomorrow" I say

"Cant you pull some strings so I can stay longer" Ben pleads

"I tried, but rules are rules" I say

"It's okay, ring me when your home and we can say goodnight then" Amy says yawning.

"On that note, I will say bye now so you can have some time alone" My mum says.

"Me to. Take care of yourself" Harry says.

"You need a lift home mum or Sienna taking you?" Sid asks.

"I don't mind who takes me home" My mum says.

"Sienna, you can decide" Sid says

"I'm sure it's my turn. Mum, I'm ready when you are" I say then I turn to Ethan and says "I will ring you once I've dropped my mum off"

"Okay" Ethan says

"I hope you get a good night's rest, remember your no hassle and ring the buzzer if you need anything" I say Looking back at Amy.

"I will, you all get a good night's rest as well" I say as my mum hugs Amy goodbye.

"You all have a good evening and thanks for everything again" Ben says.

"No need to thank us" Sid says

"Yeah, I just need to see smiles and I'm good but I won't say no to a beer as well soon" Harry says making us chuckle.

"Your the one who owns more than us having a club. Drinks should be on you" Amy says

"You hurry up get yourself better and I will let you have the whole place to yourself to have a drink. I will even have it deepend cleaned beforehand to say old Ben's ticker" Harry says

"You cheeky git" Ben says with amusement.

"I think that's a good deal though dad don't turn your nose up to it to soon" Ethan says as everyone hoovers towards the door knowing we all need to be leaving but enjoying the banter before us

"Okay, out with you all before you get us all in trouble. Good night Amy, if any of you need anything just let me know" My mum says

"Thanks again. Goodnight everyone" Ben says.

"Night" Amy says and we all start heading out leaving Ethan, Ben and Amy to have a moment alone.

Harry links my arm and says "So breakfast lunch or dinner tomorrow. You choose I'm not fussed which one but its about time we had a catch up".

"Dinner my house?" I say

"Oh I thought you would never ask" Harry says

"Alright, what you want for dinner?" I say

"Anything so long as I have you for company" Harry say

"Sounds good to me. I can't wait" I say

"Its good to have you back home princess, I'm also looking forward to get to know Tilly more. She seems nice and be nice for you and Maria to have more females in the circle" Harry says.

"Maria loves Tilly and Tilly loves Maria. We can talk more about Tilly tomorrow. There's something I want to discuss with you anyway" I say

"Oh, sounds interesting" Harry says

"Yeah, so what's your plans this evening?" I ask.

"Nothing interesting I'm just going to have a early night as got a well early delivery in the morning. You would think the brewers wouldn't have delivery to pubs and night clubs early. Ha no, six am" Harry says

"Rather you than me. I'm actually looking forward to not having to turn off my alarm and actually sleep in for once" I say as we head out the hospital.

"I don't blame you" Harry says.

"Mum do you have my car keys?" I ask realising I didn't pick them up from Amys hospital room..

"No, I thought you had them" My mum says as we neqr the car park.

"I picked them up for you. Mum i hope you don't mind but me and Sienna need to talk. Take my car home. I will pick it up later or tomorrow" Sid says trying to give my mum his car keys but I push his arm away saying "No, I'm taking mum home".

"We need to talk and your not going anywhere without your car keys" Sid says

"You want me to physically take them off you, trust me you don't want mum to have to see that and I will hurt you for being a stubborn ass" I say

"I just want to go home. Can you two just not fight please" My mum says

"And I will take you home mum as soon as Sid gives me my keys" I say holding out my hand in a give me gesture but also giving him a dare me look at the same time.

"You can have my keys mum" Sid says trying to give my mum his car keys and I go take them but he quickly moves his hand out the way.

"You know what Sue, let's leave them to thrash this out I will take you home" Harry says shaking his head in disbelief.

"Watch this space I'm gonna beat your ass in a minute if you don't let me take mum home" I say with a warning tone.

"I'm going with Harry, kill each other for all I care. I'm tired and this is stupid!" My mum says walking off with Harry.

"What is your issue you have to drag mum into this? Your a i***t" I say poking Sid in the chest

"I'm not the one refusing to talk am I?" Sid says

"I'm not the one who wants to slag there sister off behind there back but right infront of them at the same time. You have a issue you should of been bold enough and brave enough to tell me personally" I snap

"Okay, I deserve that but I only stated facts and how I felt" Sid says

"Then keep spouting it and feeling it just give me my keys because clearly we ain't on the same page anymore" I say

"I don't want to be at odds with you, let's just sort this out" Sid says

"No, until your mind set changes which won't be over night we just be civil infront of others. Otherwise we won't be the same like we use to. Don't even say you suddenly think differently because only time will show I won't run off and ruin others lifes. But then I don't put you all first do I so that won't change over night either. Now give me my keys" I say

"I was angry and went a little overboard. let's just work this out" Sid says

"Keys" I say holding my hand out again.

"Sienna" Sid says

"Fine, I will walk" I say turning around to walk away

"Fine, have your keys" Sid says running to catch me up and pass me my keys. I stop until the keys are in my hands then I say "Wasn't that hard was it" before continuing to walk away towards my car this time.

"Sienna this isn't over with" Sid shouts
