CHAPTER FOUR : Meeting Old Friends (II)

*Author's POV*

“You this bastard, you betrayed me” Donald said, looking like he wants to cry “I didn't betray you my love, I left you behind besides you were the centre of attraction, I don't want to steal the spotlight that was meant for you” Dimitri said and patted him on the shoulder “Get your filthy hands off me you punk” Donald said and shoved Dimitri's hands away, *Buzz, Buzz* “Hello, it's Dimitri on the line, who am I speaking with?” Dimitri asked the person at the other end “Beta it's Clara, I tried calling the alpha but he's not answering” Clara said “What is it Clara, the alpha is busy how many times do you want me to say it” Dimitri replied and was about to hang up when he heard Clara say “Beta some rouges came to attack us and took some of our pups”, “What did you just say?” Dimitri asked “I said rouges came to attack and took some of our pups” Clara said again, but this time she said it slowly so Dimitri can hear her “okay Clara we are on our way” Dimitri said “okay, is alpha there te…” Clara was about to say something when Dimitri hung up “oh s**t,why does he always do this?” Clara asked no one in particular and turned to the pack members “Don't worry guys, I just called Beta and he said he's coming with the alpha, so just keep calm okay?” Clara said to them.

“What is it Dimitri” Donald asked worriedly “Clara called and said the pack was attacked by rogues and they took some of the pups” He replied and hurriedly went to pick up the car keys “What,did you just say?, the pups” Donald asked “Yup that was what I heard and that was my exact reaction, I pray it's not true”Dimitri said and they both rushed to the car “Give me the keys Dimitri I'll drive”Donald said with a cold tone ande had this dark aura like he was about to kill someone “Yes alpha” Dimitri replied and quickly gave him the keys.

*Lily's POV*

“Dad we're here” I said, tapping dad so he would wake up “I know darling,I know” Mr Gilbert said and started snoring again “You don't know anything dad, you've been sleeping, wake up old man” I said and that woke him up “what did you just call me old, I'm not old” He said and walked out of the plane “Dad wait for me” I said “I'm not waiting for someone who said I'm old” he said and I giggled “I'm sorry my king” I said and bowed “That's more like it” Mr Gilbert said and we both started laughing “Sir” Charles said as he opens the car door “where exactly are we going to now dad?” I asked “We're going to our friends house” he replied with a smile “Our friends? Dad you might have friends but the last time I checked I do not have friends” i said looking confused “No, no,no,the last time I checked you have friends, you just don't remember them” he said “okay if you say so” replied.

After some time we got to the so called friends house “Sir we're here” Charles informed us as soon as we entered the estate gate “Okay, thank you” Dad replied “Gideon Gilbert” I heard Dad's full name from behind then I turned around to see who dares to call my dad's name without respect, only to Raymond Anderson the owner of starlight hotel and his family that looks vaguely familiar strolling behind him “And you my dear must be Lily Lanister” He said and stretched forth his hand for a handshake “Yes sir” I said and also stretch forth my hand to give him a handshake “Such a respectful child you have here Gilbert”Mr Anderson said “Will you stop flattering me Raymond” my dad said “I'm not flattering you dummy, I'm praising the child for being respectful” Mr Anderson said with a silly look “You bastard, how could I forget so easily”dad said as he rubs his temples which made everyone laugh “So princess, this is Lisa”Dad said as he shows me a tall, beautiful lady of my age with black wavy hair and brown eyes “Nice to meet you Lisa” I said as I offered a handshake “nice to meet you too”she replied and accepted the handshake “and this is Mrs Doris Anderson” Dad said as he shows me a woman in her late fifties, with black straight hair and hazel eyess “nice to meet you ma'am” I said and shaked her “Nice to meet you too darling” she replied “Now, someone is missing”Dad said and looked at Mr Anderson “Yes, he went to the office to get something, he'll be back soon”Mr Anderson explained “okay, but Raymond you really need to change” dad saidand I looked at him confused “from what? Why?” Mr Anderson asked also looking confused “Why? Are you seriously asking me why? Can't you see or don't you know you have a very bad character a very stinky one” dad said “Oh my goodness what have I done to deserve this in my own house” Mr Anderson said s” Mrs Anderson said “ok mom Lisa said “Lily, where do you want to go to” Lisa asked “why?” I asked back “Taking you round the house sounds boring to me, so let's go out” she explained “Now I see, Why don't we go to the new restaurant” I said and shrugged “The spongee restaurant!!” Lisa shouted “Yes, that one” i replied “oh my dear lily this is a dream come true” Lisa said and started wiping her imaginary tears which made me giggle “I'll tell Charles to take us there” I said “mmm” she said and nodded.

“I'm so happy, I didn't snooze on this one, I would havew missed a lot” Lisa said and I giggled“You could have just come anytime in the future” I replied “no way Lily”Lisa said shaking her head like a baby “Why” I said with a smile “Because new restaurant's gives the best food before they become popular” she said and winked “ooh, now I get it” I said and nodded in understanding “what is going on over there?” Lisa asked pointing her finger towards the crowd “I don't know let's go check” I said and we both stood up to check what's going on “Who is that guy?with silver hair he's Cute” Lisa asked “I don't know who he is, but I know for sure that he likes show off” Lily replied with frown “you know him” Lisa asked “ No I met with him on the worst day of my life” I replied but as I looked at him I felt something strange like I was being pulled towards that direction but brushed it off “ohh” Lisa replied and nodded in understanding “Lisa I think we should go now” I said and turned my back to leave but was stopped by Lisa's voice “ Lily your bracelet is glowing” Lisa shouted, like she just saw something unreal but when I checked it, it wasn't glowing, it was back to normal “Are you sure you saw it glow” I asked Lisa with a weird ‘did you see right’ look, but she didn't reply and immediately she just walked out of my sight feeling embarrassed.

*Blue moon pack*

“Dimitri Tell Silas his attention is needed here” Donald said “okay Alpha” Dimitri said and went outside to call Silas “Silas the Alpha wants to see you” he said “okay Beta” Silas said and went inside the alpha's office with a heavy heart “what's going on Silas” Donald asked “ Alpha rogues came to attack us and they took some of our pups” Silas replied with a shaky voice “And how did they get into the pack silnas?” Donald asked again ,but with a cold tone and dark aura “ I don't know Alpha” Silas replied slowly “Aren't you supposed to protect the pack, aren't you supposed to tighten the security?” Donald asked “Alpha those rogues were strong, we could not hold them back” Silas said and bowed his head “And what are you the pack warrior leader for if you cannot do your work” Donald said as his eyes turned White,his claws grew longer and longer and his voice was no longer the same and the room temperature dropped to zero degrees, at this point Silas knew he was a dead meat because he knew at this point that he was no longer talking to the Alpha, he is now talking to the Alpha's ruthless wolf kade “I'm sorry Alp…. *s***h*” The sound of flesh being cut was heard in the office as Donald used his claw to tear open Silas's chest and brought out his still beating heart “Dimitri” Donald shouted from inside “ Yes Alpha” Dimitri answered “Clean this mess and assign some of the pack warriors to go bring back the pup's “Yes alpha” Dimitri answered.

*Lily's POV*

“I'm bored” I said, as I shook Lisa who was seriously reading an old book “Why are you even reading this dusty book” I asked “Oh, I got this book from my grandpa's library besides it's old and that's why it's dusty” She said and continued reading “I'm not blind to see that it's old, my question is why are you reading it” I asked again “Because it's interesting Lily” she replied and started reading again “well I'm bored, let's do something fun please” I begged “what do you want to do?” she asked “I don't know Lisa, I just want to leave this world of boredom” I replied and gave my irresistible puppy eyes “ okay, should I tell what I read from this book” Lisa asked with a lively tone “yes please” I replied “It's a werewolf story, where the pack has been cursed because of the old Luna” she said and dropped the book “ wait what is a Luna?” I asked in confusion “okay, I think I have to start from the basics. An Alpha is the leader of a pack he's just like a king, while Beta is the right hand man of the alpha, he's just like the King's assistant and Finally the Luna, Luna is the alpha's mate, she's just like a kings wife” she said and I nodded in understanding “ so what did the old Luna do that made them curse the pack” I asked “The Old Luna was mated to the former alpha of the blue moon pack, bit she didn't like the alpha and she was hungry for power so her hunger for power was what made her accept the alpha as her mate” Lisa said and paused to drink water “was that the reason the pack was cursed?” I asked impatiently “No, that was not the reason” she answered “so what was the reason?” I asked again “The old Luna of the blue moon pack was having an affair with the beta and when she conceived she lied to the alpha that she was pregnant for him and the alpha was filled with joy, he threw a three days party for his pregnant Luna. So one day he went to the Beta's house for a meeting since he doesn't want to stress the Beta only to get there and receive the shocker of his life.” She paused and looked at me “why are you looking at me, complete the story what did he see” I asked in fury “He saw his wife and his friends wife making out and he also saw a paper on the table that prescribes the amount of wolfsbane they would put in the alpha's drink and a big silver chain on the flo…” I cut Lisa off with my question “sorry for cutting you off Lisa but what is the wolfsbane and Silver chain for” I asked looking curious “The wolfsbane is a syrup that can kill a wolf and the Silver chain will weaken a wolf, I don't know but I think wolves don't like silver” she replied “okay, so what happened to the Alpha” I asked again but before Lisa could answer there was a knock on the door “Girls, it's time for dinner come stairs” Mrs Anderson's voice was heard from outside calling us for dinner “ we'll be right there” Lisa replied and went to the cabinet to drop her book “Aren't you going to finish the story?” I asked Lisa, my head hanging low “I'll tell you another time, let's go I think my brothers are here”Lisa replied and ran downstairs leaving me all alone, then I saw something strange beside her bed and decided to go see what I is it is, but as I was about to get to it I heard my name from downstairs “I'll be there soon” I said and ran downstairs.
