Under the Influence: His Reign

Episode 1

*Narrator*

As always, Luciana was as early as an early bird preparing to go to school and this was because she didn't fancy bumping into Alexio and his friends. Little did she know fate had something else in store for her. After getting dressed and having breakfast, she quietly opened the door so as to not disturb her grandmother who was sleeping and left for the nearest bus station. She bordered the usual 6 am bus that left her at the school gate, and she went to the discussion room, since it was the only room in the whole academy that Alexio and his friends hated, so there'd be no chance of bumping into them there. The moment she entered the room she stopped midway, shocked and perplexed at the scene before her, it was Alexio and his friends sitted at her favorite table chatting away. There was Jasper the kind one, Zade was just as bad as Alexio. You could swear they were cut of the same cloth, Tierry was no better and Zander just didn't care at all; that was their squad, rulers of Moonshine academy also known as the F5 (feared 5).

*LUCIANA*

I tried to quickly leave without being noticed, but my luck had deserted me as i bumped into Tierry, who was entering the room.

"Guys, look what we have here" he said, placing both his hands on my shoulders as the others turned to look at me.

"A sheep in the lion's den", Zade smirked, looking me up and down, giving an evil smile before speaking again, "Dude, she's got legs for days." he whistled, lusting over my beautiful long legs and the short uniform skirt wasn't helping at all, I felt exposed.

"Uum excuse me, I think I should probably leave." I tried moving past Tierry, but he wouldn't let me.

"Not so fast love, why not introduce yourself"? Zade said.

"My name is Luciana Sanchez, may I go now?" I was starting to feel irritated.

"Lucia would be cool and why are you in a hurry darling?" Jasper asked nicely, which helped me ease up a bit.

" I got to do a recap of what I learned yesterday". I replied and, all this while, Zander had that i don't care look and Alexio was very quiet, to my surprise.

" Hmm a bookworm" Tierry mocked and I snapped.

" Yeah, some of us aren't born as trust fund babies" the words were out before i could think twice.

"What did you call us?" Alexio's deep husky voice boomed in the quiet room, giving me the creeps and, boy did he look angry, I just gulped and didn't say a word.

"Trust fund babies, that's nasty'' Zander snickered. I felt like ripping him apart, he chose to care now and in doing so was enraging Alexio against me.

" Luciana Sanchez, you have got some nerve baby girl, gotta give that to you" Tierry said, pushing me and I fell right into Alexio's arms.

He stared back at me with those beautiful eyes that only harbored coldness, cruelty and i suddenly felt a shiver run up my spine. This monster could easily kill me and no one would know. Maybe I was being a tad bit dramatic, he tightened his grip, hurting me in the process as his nails dug into my soft skin.

"You are hurting her dude" Jasper said, his voice filled with concern and worry.

"Doesn't matter" Alexio replied coldy.

I was saved by the bell as classes had begun. He threw me on the floor and I hurt my ankle. He took out his handkerchief, dusted his hands as if I were dirt and left the room.

I was teary-eyed.

"Word of advice stay away from Alexio", Jasper said, with a smile, and left.

This was my first encounter with that jerk who would ruin anyone who got in his way. I got up, wiped my skirt and then left the room. As i was limping , the hallway was in an uproar and everyone was staring at me weirdly. My only friend, Maya, ran up to me.

"Why are they staring at me like that?" she looked at me with pity.

"You are trending girl". I was surprised. What did she mean? She handed me her phone, showing me a video that had been uploaded a while ago and, to my horror, it was me and the F5. It was the part where i called them trust fund babies.

I went numb. Who could have done this?

"Friend, your perfect life just became a nightmare. Alexio will hunt you down, you are his prey now you declared war", Maya said, and then the F5 guys passed by us and Zade came close to me and whispered.

"You're welcome beautiful legs" he winked and joined his friends. So he had done this vile deed, this monster.

I was officially doomed. This marked the end of my peaceful days at Moonshine academy.
