Before the wolf could grab me, I jumped. My feet hit the ground as Joel roared behind me. He had been right the day before, I was a tease. I knew a mock chase would make the wolf insane right now. It was impossible to resist. I bolted toward the bedroom doors and turned to watch Joel. At this point I was absolutely positive he would break them down to get to me.
