~Sienna~ The office fell silent as Lucas’s question hung in the air. Vivian’s sharp features, which moments ago were twisted in an expression of triumph, now faltered. Her lips parted slightly, but no sound came out. The ladies were frozen, their perfectly postured attempts at impressing Lucas momentarily forgotten as their eyes darted between him and Vivian.
