Bitter Twist pt 2
"I'm sorry Janice, but what do you mean by he's not here?" I asked Jaxon's cousin.
"He's not here now," Janice replied.
"But he came back home last night, right?" Violet asked.
"Yes he did," Janice replied.
Violet and I exchanged glances, relief showing on our faces. At least, he was safe
"Hold on, you said Jason woke up this morning and left the house. Does that mean you don't know where he is?" Violet asked.
"I know where it is and I can tell you if you want," Janice replied.
"Please do, we need to see him," I answered.
"He's at the bowling alley downtown," Janice replied.
"Jaxon missed school today to go bowling? I didn't think he had it in him," Violet said, as if she could believe her ears.
