Too hot, too cold
Jaxon's POV
After ending things with Riley, I walked out of the cafeteria and headed to the school garden. I needed a place to think after all that had happened. It felt weird that Riley and I weren't together anymore but it was the right thing to do.
Getting to the school garden, I realized that I wasn't the only one who loved coming to this place. There was Emmelyn and her best friend Violet. Although I could see them, they couldn't see me because they had their backs turned against me.
Their lips were moving but I couldn't hear what they were saying. Looking at Emmelyn, I thought about approaching her to tell her how I felt about her but I didn't know how she was going to take it.
