The Party
Emmelyn’s POV
The ride to the party was filled with nervous excitement, not just because of the feeling of thrill that I was feeling at the unexpected that could happen but with the leftover adrenaline that was racing in my blood stream that moment.
Violet and Ashley were laughing about something that happened at school, but I only half-listened at that moment. I only laughed at certain jokes but my mind was afraid away at that moment.
My thoughts drifted from Jaxon’s unread message to the way my stomach twisted at the idea of being seen tonight. It was the first time that I was venturing out since everything.
