The kiss

Su Yue turned. “Mr. Shen? Is he okay? Why do you look like you’ve seen a ghost?” she asked again, putting on a confused look. Mr. Shen looked up at her, a smirk accompanied by a smile playing around the corner of his lips. He stood up, eyes not leaving Liang Wei. “Liang Wei?” Su Yue called, The commotion outside drew Xu Yang and Wang Xinyi out of the car. Mr. Shen’s eyes fell on them; he scoffed. If he got any closer, someone would end up dead. His eyes stung with tears. Nothing ever made him cry—not even when he watched his parents drown to keep him alive or when he watched his adoptive parents burn into ashes. For the past twenty years, not even once did he shed a tear. But ever since he fell in love with Liang Wei, his heart bled with tears every day. He was the brightness in his life, but still the darkness. He never misses an opportunity to make him feel unlove. “Mr. Shen...” Liang Wei took the first step. “You don’t want to do that... you know if you get any closer to me, I’ll hurt you.” His words landed with a bitter laugh ; it made the surroundings colder. Wang Xinyi pulled a confused and innocent Su Yue behind her. Mr. Shen pulled off his ring. His eyes brushed Liang Wei’s fingers; he wasn’t wearing his. For the past two years, not even once had he taken it off. Liang Wei was always the one taking his off each time they fought... but this time they hadn’t fought. Why wasn’t he wearing it? “Mr. Shen... wait for me to explain. Please.” The fear that thundered in his chest seeing Mr. Shen take off his ring for the first time was enough to drive him crazy. “Explain what?” Mr. Shen asked, throwing the ring to the ground right in front of him. Liang Wei’s heart was now pounding in his chest; his vision blurred with tears. Mr. Shen turned to leave; if he stayed longer, he wouldn’t be able to hold himself back from killing someone but Liang Wei ran after him. “Mr. Shen! Mr. Shen, please don’t... let me explain. Shen Yuxuan!” Liang’s voice rang across the street as his hand flew to Mr. Shen’s shirt. Just then, the back of Mr. Shen’s palm met his cheek. Everyone gasped. Liang Wei’s hands fled to his cheek as he tasted the saltiness of his tears. “I said don’t!” Mr. Shen yelled for the first time since he got there. He took a step forward, making Liang Wei step back two paces, hands still holding onto his cheek. Mr. Shen took another step forward but before he could take another, Su Yue was standing right in front of Liang Wei, her hands raised to shield him from Mr. Shen. “You can’t hurt him!” she yelled, her own heart thundering against her chest at the sight of Mr. Shen. Mr. Shen’s eyes moved past her to Liang Wei, anger boiling in him like a lion that just got denied his meal. The audacity Liang Wei had given to make her tell him what he can do and cannot do. He walked to his car in four solid steps, making Liang Wei quickly pull Su Yue aside. “It’s okay, he’s leaving,” she said, brushing her little fingers on his face to wipe the tears. Liang Wei pushed her hand away, pushing her behind him.Mr. Shen opened the passenger door and then strode back to them. “Inside,” he said, pointing his gun at Liang Wei. No one dared to talk. Wang Xinyi tried to pull Su Yue away, but Mr. Shen turned to her. “Ask him. You don’t want to try me,” Mr. Shen warned, his voice as cold as ice. “Both of you, get inside now before I lose it.” Liang Wei moved to the car slowly, shielding Su Yue. Mr. Shen wouldn’t shoot him, but he couldn’t say the same for Su Yue. When they got in, he shut the door, then turned to the rest. “Xu Xuan, you know I wouldn’t hurt your friend even though he keeps hurting me. But for you, young lady, I can’t guarantee the safety of your friend if you go around blabbering to someone that I have her. We don’t want that now, do we?” Wang Xinyi shook her head, trying not to breathe too loudly. With that, Mr. Shen turned away, grabbed the car keys from Xu Yang, and drove off. “What is all this? Can someone explain? Is it really that wrong for us to kiss? You have a gu—” Liang Wei grabbed Su Yue’s hand, trying to tell her to be quiet. “Are you that dumb or just pretending to be?” Mr. Shen’s voice threw her off as he drove insanely to his villa . Their footsteps echoed through the hall, disturbing the quietness of the place. Su Yue could hear her own heartbeat the moment she stepped into Mr. Shen’s room. What tricks had she not pulled just to get here Liang Wei landed on the marble floor from Mr Shen’s yanking with a disturbing force as soon as they were in. The temperature in the room suddenly felt too hot for him. He went on his knees. Mr. Shen paced; his heart throbbed. He didn’t know what to do. He squatted, head buried in his lap, gun hanging from his palm. He looked like his soul had been crushed. Who the f**k would cheat on him? He gives everything a lover would think per his thinking and lessons from Chi Cheng. Liang Wei drew closer. He grabbed his leg. “Mr. Shen... please.” Mr. Shen lifted his head to meet his. His blue eyes looked tired from crying; it hurt him. “Liang Wei... just tell me one thing. Are you straight or not?” Mr. Shen asked calmly, his eyes focused on Su Yue, who could no longer pretend she didn’t know what was going on anymore. The first time she was with them, she had wondered why they were in the same room in such a big house. Her father had told her that Mr Shen dots on Liang Wei and gives him anything but to the point of sharing beds?... turns out they were lovers. It’s a modern world and men really date, but she had not come across such couples. She pulled strands of hair from her face. “Can you reply or not?” Mr. Shen asked, turning back to Liang Wei. He didn’t know what to say... but he knew he loved Mr. Shen. He wanted to explain himself, but no words would come out. It angered Mr. Shen even more. “You can’t even answer this. Take them off... I’ll help you understand,” he said, pointing at Liang Wei’s clothes as he strode past Su Yue. He pulled open a drawer by the bedside and pulled out their s*x chains.Su Yue’s heart raced. She knelt. “Believe me Liang Wei tried countless times to push me away, but I remained persistent! Please don’t blame him!” she begged.Mr. Shen walked past her and dropped the chains in front of Liang Wei. He bent over him. “You both kissed. Are you shy to undress in front of her or you didn’t picture her beneath you moaning. Did you plan to f*ck her in your clothes?” Liang Wei raised his head to meet his gaze. Feeling his hot breath on his skin ran shivers down his spine. He glanced at Su Yue and then his eyes traveled back to the spotless marble floor. He was okay with being manhandled—he’d gotten used to it anyway—but in front of her? He wouldn’t be able to face her again. Mr. Shen pulled him up to his feet. “You don’t want to undress, or you can’t bear being f*cked in front of her? You don’t want her to see that you’re just a little kid that enjoys being f*cked by a man?” Su Yue gasped, losing her balance. She stood to her feet, her face burning with heat. “How sad... because even if Chi Cheng comes here and pulls me by the ear saying I shouldn’t touch you, I’ll still f*ck you anyway. Not just that, I’ll make sure she watches every bit of it and hears you scream,” Mr. Shen continued.
