Taking a break from him

Chapter 26 Morning came slowly. Cold. Heavy. Unforgiving. Liang Wei had not slept well, especially when he didn’t get enough the whole night. Usually, Mr. Shen would wake him up with his c**k in his ass. He reached beside him to touch Mr. Shen, but his side of the bed was empty; a tiny groan left his lips. He opened his eyes to search the room. Mr. Shen was already awake and dressed. He stood near the window, back turned, adjusting his cufflinks. His expression was so cold it sent shivers down Wei's spine. He leaned up slowly. "Da... Daddy..." No reply. The kind of silence that pressed against the chest until breathing felt difficult lingered Liang Wei swallowed. "Are you going to the office?" "Trip." One word. Liang Wei sat up immediately. "But... but you never mentioned any..." he paused, his frown deepening. "I don’t agree!" he spat, making Mr. Shen turned to look at him, his face devoid of emotion. He needed enough breathing space and he doesn’t agree? Wei got off the bed and threw his hands around his waist. "I’m horny." Mr. Shen gently pushed him aside, looking at him blankly. Normally, Mr. Shen would cancel a business trip if Liang Wei said so. If Liang Wei wanted someone to be fired, they got fired. Outside their room, he got anything he wanted, but it turned out Mr. Shen had spoiled him too much. Mr. Shen picked up his phone and walked past him without looking. The door closed. A tear slipped down Wei's cheek; he ran after him. Mr. Shen was just on the last stair. "The old man called! He wants us home in three days' time!" he shouted from the door, making Mr. Shen pause. "Just go alone. I’ll call and explain my absence," he finally replied and resumed his walk. "Shen Yuxuan!..I’ll hurt myself if you leave," Liang Wei yelled after him, but the slamming of the door was his only reply. Wei was so upset,he wanted to call his dad immediately and put up a show. He dragged himself back to the room and prepared for school. On his way to campus, Su Yue kept calling, but he didn’t have the strength to explain anything, so he turned the phone off. "You look terrible," Xu Xuan’s voice greeted him—half-joking, half-worried—as soon as he stepped out of his car.Liang Wei forced a small shrug, walking past him. The day went by really slowly for him, and as soon as he was done with his classes, he headed straight home. He sighed as he dropped his bag, loosened his collar, and sat on the edge of the bed for a long moment before finally picking up his phone. Su Yue had called a couple of times and left worried messages. He scrolled through his contact list and dialed Chi Cheng’s number. "Hmm?" "Your brother’s not picking my calls or replying to my messages," he spat with a visible frown that Chi Cheng could sense through the phone. "What did you do?" Chi Cheng asked plainly, sticking a cigarette into his mouth. "Third partner," he hissed unwillingly. "That’s not an answer. Should I hang up and give you time to put your sentences together?" Chi Cheng’s voice was just as cold as Mr. Shen’s had been that morning.pampering Wei too much has given him lots of wings and now he’s misusing it,so maybe he should be a little hard this time. Wei rolled his eyes. "He hit me..." he paused. "Again. I was a little upset, okay? So I ignored his calls and messages. I was on a video call with Su Yue and I didn’t know when he walked in." "What type of video call, Wei?" Chi Cheng asked, a tiny smile playing around the corners of his lips. Liang Wei shifted, his room suddenly turning hot. He cleared his throat. Chi Cheng’s smile grew a little as he drew on his cigarette. He hung up and dropped the phone on Mr. Shen, who caught it before it could hit his face, glaring. Mr. Shen was sprawled across him, one arm lazily wrapped around Chi Cheng's waist and his head resting against his chest as if listening to his heartbeat, legs stretched across the cushions entangled with his. Mr. Shen did this all the time since growing up Chi Cheng would always climb into his bed to cuddle him. "So this is why you’re here, clinging to me like a second skin," Chi Cheng said, looking down at him. A devilish smile played around his lips when he ignored him. He leaned over Mr. Shen, his lips just an inch away from his. Mr. Shen, sensing the closeness, flipped his eyes open, a frown forming on his face as he stared straight into Chi Cheng’s grey pupils. "Yuxuan, do you know—or do you not know—that I’m not straight?"
