Chapter 27 “Ah, perfect,” Dakota murmured, slipping Wolfie’s thumb drive out of the slot as all three screens went abruptly dark. Her work as enforcer was now complete. She’d guaranteed no digital evidence of werewolves existed on the SHRITA hard drives and had similarly ensured human brains would be wiped just as thoroughly by her ticking bomb. All that was left was to make her own escape. Or so I thought.
