VIVIAN’S POV “Vivian,” Victor said, his voice filled with shock. “Don’t play the innocent-brother act with me,” I snapped. “You tried to kill your own brother. Aren’t you ashamed?” Victor stared at me. I stepped closer, my anger rising with every second. “Let’s even assume you and Damien have some kind of issue between you. What about me?” I demanded. “What did I ever do to you?” He opened his mouth, but I didn’t give him the chance to speak. “You paid Ryan to kill me,” I continued. “And don’t even bother denying it, because I have evidence.” Victor’s expression hardened. “You’ve been sending money to Ryan. You’ve been calling him. I heard you talking to him on the phone myself, and you stood right there and lied to me, telling me it was a contractor.” I shook my head bitterly.
