Matt's POV
Matt stood pacing in the office hating that Dean and Kate were out there without him. He understood where Dean was coming from with is designated survivor plan. Since his father had been killed, and Matt's father stepped aside, he had always worried about what would happen if all three of his top ranked wolves were killed. It was hard enough for them to deal with the transition of power after the Alpha and Gamma died. Matt's father helped where he could but with both the Alpha and Gamma gone, he was pulled in a million directions. It wasn't a perfect system but Dean refused to put both of them in a dangerous situation together if it could be helped.
