Sophia woke up to an empty bed. She could still feel the warmth covering the sheets from Dean's side so he hadn't been gone that long. She did wonder where he was though. She would have liked to have woken up with him given their talk last night. She lay there for a few more minutes and was about to get up when their bedroom door opened and Dean walked in carrying a breakfast tray. He stopped when he saw her looking at him and gave her a sly smile.
"Way to ruin your surprise," he said teasingly. "I tried to sneak out and get this back for you before you got up. I'm surprised you're even up so early."
