Chapter 2 (At Hiller’s Residence)

Amelia arrived at Hiller’s Residence before lunch time the next day. Her parents are still working for them and so they are still living with them. Everyone is happy to see her after a long time. Talking and laughing together while eating just like before. Nothing really changed much. Everything’s almost the same. The only difference is that…… Edward isn’t around anymore, will never be around forever.

Later, Joey dragged Amelia to his bedroom and said, “Amelia, you are okay, right? I thought you'd moved on already, babe. It’s been three years, Amy. I’m sure Edward wants you to move on and be happy again.”

Amelia smiled and said, “I’m really fine Joey. Like you said, it’s been three years and I have accepted this already. I’m also trying to move on with my life. Don’t worry, I feel better now. I promised Edward that I would be happy again and I would. Juts trust me okay? Maybe not now yet, but it will come, okay?”

“Hmmm. Yes, I trust you Amy!”…..“Shall we go shopping now?”

“I’m curious as to why you need to go shopping for tomorrow’s dinner, girl? Hmmm, and who is this special guest your talking about? Is it Steve? Hmm?”

“No, not Steve, girl! He is Mark’s best friend, Adam Taylor. Do you remember him? He’s a f**k**g Adonis!!!!!”

“Whoaaahhh!! Hold on, girl! Which one of Mark’s best friends and does Steve know about this? Hmm?”

“Damn girl, are you kidding me!!!!!!!?? Of course, Steve knows and he also thinks that Adam is an Adonis and, FYI, Adam is the only best friend of Mark and you’ve met him before already!!”

“Oh!Hehe.. I don’t remember at all! Hehe”

“Oh my f**k**g god, Amelia!!! How could you forget such a man!!!! I can’t believe it. He is Adam Taylor of the Taylor Groups. Rich,tall, hot and handfuckingsome!!!!”

“HAHAHAh. OMG Joey!! You like him, don’t you? Does Mark know that his little brother likes his best friend?” Teased Amelia. “Aren’t you afraid that Steve will know and get hurt?”

“Shhhhh!!! OMG Amy, you’re too loud! Duh, please, Steve has known for a long time already that Adam is one of my crushes, okay? Steve is still the best to me and I love him very much. I’m not that gaga, okay? Just admiring God’s beautiful creation. Hehe” Joey exclaims, while Amelia is amused at him.

“Then why bother shopping?”

“Oh no, of course, to look good and not only me, by the way. We are also going shopping for you. When was the last time you tried to dolled yourself up? “

“It doesn’t matter, Joey. I’m fine just wearing simple clothes and I don’t see the need when Edward isn’t here anymore.”

“Haiizzz. Amelia, are you planning to be single forever? Do you think Edward will be happy with you like this? Don’t do that, okay? Edward wants the best for you. You know that!”

“I know…”

“Then it’s settled! Let’s go shopping now, Amy baby!”

“O….kay.” Amelia said.

After chatting, Amelia and Joey go shopping together for tomorrow’s dinner. Shopping with Joey is always great and fun, but Amelia was going crazy for her best friend to let her try on so many clothes and she couldn’t even complain about it. They’ve bought plenty of clothes, especially dresses. Nevertheless, she’s still happy. It’s always great to spend time and go shopping with Joey. Haiiiizz… at long last, Joey has finally felt satisfied and they can now go back home. They’ve arrived home late already. Because of exhaustion, Amelia and Joey directly go to their respective rooms to call it a night.
