~VALENTINO’S POV~ It had been seven days since everything exploded between Alina and me. Seven long, dragging, bitter days. I told myself I didn’t care, that it didn’t matter, that she betrayed me, and I did what I had to do. But pretending not to care was harder than I expected. I tried to drown myself in work; signed papers, held meetings, managed suppliers but even that didn’t help. Nothing helped. The silence felt louder.
