Everything changed after the ceremony.
The horrible looks on the elders and commoners from the pack, it was clearly obvious they didn't approve of the bonding and mating ceremony of Alpha Rowan and Ariana.
But instead, Ariana stood alone in the chamber Rowan had given her. The guards were outside, watching every movement and protecting their new Luna.
She sat slowly on the bed. Her body still felt weak from exhaustion.
After her last experience with Selene, she was not the same anymore.
