The moment I stepped into the circle, warmth spread under my feet.
Golden light rose faintly around me. Nyx's voice sounded softly.
"Close your eyes." I did. "Look inward." At first I felt only pain.
The ache in my chest, the fire in my veins and the weakness in my limbs.
Then after all of it, I felt something else, a presence, it was faint, sleeping my breathing caught.
