The Lovers Contract

Meeting Joe part 1

I woke up the next morning with the sun beaming down on my face through the window, Dans arms are wrapped tightly around my waist with his head nuzzled into my neck. I shuffle myself around to reach out for my phone to see what the time is to find that it's 8:00. I turn back over to face Dan and lightly kiss him on the nose which causes him to stir in his sleep, I close my eyes again and relax into his chest. A few moments later Dan is gently planting kisses on my face, I flutter my eyes open to see his beaming smile. 

"What time is it princess" Dans voice was a low grumble because he had just woken.

"Just after eight sir" I reply but I am only met with a groan.

"God your sexy miss, sadly I should probably get up, I have a very important meeting today so we will have a visitor over, I want you to be dressed nicely for him" This made me wake up properly, he's never brought over anyone before or event mentioned it before today. 

"What's the meeting about? and why do I have to dress nice?" I could see my questioning was starting to put Dan in a bad mood 

"you don't need to know anything about the business all you need to know is that it's vital that your a good girl and if you're not you will be punished"  His voice was stern and I knew he meant what he said. I nodded and then he left for a shower. 

I could tell that today was not the day for joining Dan in the shower so while I waited patiently for my turn I looked through my clothes for something to wear for Dans important guest meeting. I find a navy blue floral dress which shows a little bit of cleavage but not too much to make it inappropriate for guests and flows done to a couple of inches above my knee. Perfect. As I take it out of the wardrobe Dan comes out of the shower and gets changed himself before kissing me on the cheek and disappearing off into his office to prepare for this meeting of his. 

I jump in the shower and wash my hair to make sure I look my absolute best. When I get out I put on my dress and put on a little bit of makeup, just enough to make me nice. A little bit of concealer and mascara and a little bit of foundation too. There, perfect. I out my hair into a half up half down style so that my hair is out of my face. I quickly check myself out in the mirror before making my way downstairs to have something to eat.

I make some toast and put butter on it and sit at the table eating it. By the time I have flicked through my phone and replied to any messages it was about ten and the doorbell rang. I got up to open the door to greet whoever was on the other side (like a normal human), I reach my hand out to the handle before I hear BOOMING noise come from Dan who had just come out of his office and rush over just to tell me off.

"Now behave" he raises his eyebrows and I nod. Guessing this is his special guest he places his hand around my waist and pulls me into him as if he hadn't just told me off and opens the door with enthusiasm. 

"Why hello Joe," They both reach each other's hand out for a handshake "thank you so much for meeting me today, this is the wonderful Catherine" he gestures to me and I put my hand out to shake his hand but instead Joe takes it and kisses it. Perhaps Dan hasn't said that were kinda a thing to him, I mean we aren't official I guess so no need to. I smile and say hi before they disappear off into Dan's office. 

I return back to my seat and finish off the last few bites of my breakfast before I wash up my plate. I make my way up to my laptop to read through my dissertation again with fresh eyes just in case I find any errors that I had spotted before. 

After about an hour I had finished with only finding a couple of grammar mistakes I save my work and then make my way to the lounge but not before grabbing myself a drink of juice and sit down on the sofa, however, I do not sit in my usual way all scrunched up in a ball nice and cosy I sit proper one because of Dan's stupid guest that I have to impress but also if I didn't they would all see my panties from under my dress. I turn the TV on but keep it at a low volume as the lounge is right next to Dan's office and I can't imagine the punishment I would get if I disturbed this important meeting of his. It only takes 10 minutes of me watching the TV until Dans door swings open (immediately I panic thinking I'm about to be in trouble for the TV) but a second later I hear laughter as they both come out with huge smiles on their faces.

Dan broke his eye contact with Joe and gave me a warm smile to let me know whatever they were discussing it went as well as Dan had planned.

"Let me grab you a drink, my friend" Dan bounced back into his dominant manly self by landing his hand on Joes shoulder finishing with a firm grip "What can I get you?"

"Only a coffee this time mate, we can celebrate another time but I need to drive back" Joe's voice was deep and harsh.

"Great, have a seat and ill be right back" Dan replied. I looked up from my phone pretending that I wasn't hearing the whole conversation to see Joe staring intensely at me, I really recognised this guy but I cant figure out why in my head. I give him a polite smile before his huge frame approaches me and sits next to me making me feel like a tiny mouse next to a Cat.
