ELLE "There's nothing medicine can do for us anymore," I said to JP at the backseat of the taxi taking us home. The doctor, as expected, after spending so much time consulting with him in his office, had said JP was fine, that his test results were excellent. He only gave JP some multivitamins, and now, we were on our way home. "Our case is metaphysical. Not something medications can handle. You know this, right?" JP looked at me without uttering a word. He used his eyeballs to communicate. His gaze was darting between me and my mother, his way of telling me he mustn't speak, so my mother's wrong perception of her daughter going crazy wouldn't get worsen. But we needed to talk. I was getting tired of the whole thing Should my mother know about JP and me already? I mean, she should.
