Chapter Twenty-One

Ainsley woke up in a familiar place. She looked at her hands and feet that were now tied to a column near the hourglass.

'This can't be right.'

Fear filled het entire system. Her future doesn't change even if she tries to. Death will still wait for her.

But she know she couldn't let Samael take advantage of her.

"You're finally awake."

Ainsley looked next to him and he immediately saw Samael holding his dagger. He stood up and stared sharply at her.

"Should I call you Ainsley or Dionne?" Samael asked while smiling.

"How about you? Should I call you Mason or Samael?" she asked back.

Samael approached her and pointed the dagger to her neck. Ainsley tried not to tremble with fear. She looked directly at Samael's eyes. "If you want to kill me, then do it."

Samael played the dagger near Ainsley's neck. "You know what I need from you. Don't rush. I will surely kill you after I get it."

Ainsley tried to use her ability as a bridge but every time she did that she seemed to be weakening. Ainsley looked sharply at Samael who was now smiling at her.

"What did you do to my ability?" Ainsley asked him.

"Let's just say that you used all your strength and energy before and now, your body is trying to recharge."

Ainsley was bewildered at what she heard. She can't remember anything that happened before. Why would she use all of her energy? She only remembered that Azrael, no, it's Samael, used something to her that made her fall asleep.

Ainsley stopped when she remembered something.

The demonic pill.

"You are the one who put the demonic pill into Yenzhen's drawer, aren't you?"

Samael just smiled back at her before returning to his seat earlier. Samael stared at the hourglass while playing with his dagger.

Ainsley couldn't understand why Samael hadn't even started to t*****e her. Based on her vision, she could clearly see that she was struggling but now, it looks like Samael is waiting for something.

She closed her eyes when she felt the pain in her head again. The whispers she was hearing before suddenly came back.

This also happened to her before Samael took her.

She saw Samael smiling as she looked at him. She then clearly understand what was happening to her.

Samael is making her a demon.

She wanted to say something but the darkness suddenly overwhelmed her.

Ainsley slowly opened her eyes but she is now clearly different from before.

"And last! You're better to talk to now than before," Samael told her.

Ainsley rolled her eyes. "Can you untie me first? My arms are already sore."

Samael did what she asked. Ainsley rubbed her arms when Samael removed the ropes.

She then looked at the hourglass and smiled. "Our plan is clearly working."

Darkness filled all the sand of the hourglass. There were few white sands left. They were happy as their plans are starting to work.

The two have been waiting for these moments for a long time. They can now rule all the realms, from heaven to hell.

"Lilith."

Ainsley turned to Samael. "What is it?"

"How does it feel to have the ability to command all the creatures?" Samael asked her.

Lilith's smile faded. She looked at Samael with anger.

"Ainsley is so stubborn. Her abilities are only attached to her soul. Earlier my soul almost split when I used her ability. Thankfully, the hell fire helped me to regain my strength. "

Lilith and Samael thought deeply. They tried every means to make Lilith possessed Ainsley after they learned that she is the bridge. They also know that Ainsley's ability might only be attached to her soul so they used the demonic pill and hell fire to try to weaken her soul.

But they didn't thought that Ainsley could get the strength and protection of Gushion, Lucifer and Gabriel. They successfully taken down Gushion's protection barrier but they couldn't do it to Lucifer's and Gabriel especially now that Lucifer gained his status and strength back.

"We can't stop just because of those archangels. We should take full control of Ainsley's soul," Lilith firmly told Samael.

"How are we going to do that if he's so stubborn?"

Lilith smirked at him. "Then let us make use of her weakness."

Samael then smiled at Lilith when he understands what she is trying to tell him.

He then called his demons and commanded them to get Ainsley's friends. Minutes later, Samael's disciples arrived with Bliant, Jayden, Elinora and Madison.

"Ainsley?" Jayden asked in astonishment after he saw the friend and the enemy together. "Why are you with him?"

Lilith rolled her eyes. "Oh c'mon. You don't need to know about it further."

Lilith glanced at Samael and the man just nodded at her. She went back and handcuffed herself before she woke Ainsley up.

Ainsley's eyes widened when she came back. He immediately shouted at Samael when he saw it.

"You won't control me. I will never follow you!"

Samael just smirked at her before he signaled his demons to get her friends near her.

Ainsley become more furious when she saw her friends being held by Samael's demons.

"You are really so evil. Lay a finger on them and I will surely kill myself."

"I just need you to make all the angels follow me. If you don't want that then I'll just kill this guy."

Samael immediately stabbed Bliant's hands. Ainsley's youngest friend cried out in pain. "Stop it!"

Samael continues to stab Bliant in his hands and legs. The man just shouted while their friends were crying because of his condition.

Bliant couldn't heal his self as he did for others and this t*****e could be very painful for him.

Ainsley closes her eyes. He didn't want to see his friend hurt but he also didn't want to see Samael get what he wanted.

"How about I also did that to this woman here—"

"Stop!"

Ainsley stared sharply at Samael before she closed her eyes and uttered the words that even her didn't expect to say.

"I'll do as you say."
