Chapter Twenty-Three

Unexpected Meeting

Nhikolei's POV

"Hey! Nhikolei! Here!"

Hinanap ko ang pinanggalingan ng boses at agad kong nakita sina Chase at Riel. At kung titignan ay mukhang lasing na naman ang dalawang ito.

Lumapit ako sa kanila at nilayo ang mga baso ng alak. "Ihahatid ko na kayo sa mga pamamahay ninyo. Just stop this nonsense. Hindi maalis ng alak ang pagiging bitter ninyong dalawa."

Chase look at me at mabilis na hinatak ang kanang kamay ko and hugged it. I deeply sighed. This is not the Chase I knew before. For what I know, Chase and Riel both love a similar woman but then, that woman didn't choose any of them. Mas pinili ng babaeng iyon ang long time bestfriend niya. And now, sabay na nagpapakalunod sa alak ang dalawa.

I somehow relate to these two. But for me, I already moved on. Past is already in the past and it shouldn't be brought up again.

"Umalis ka sa harapan ko."

Napatingin ako sa kabilang parte ng bar. Many people are looking at them. Mukhang may nangyayaring eskandalo dito.

Napa-iling na lang ako at dahan-dahang tinulungan ang mga kaibigan ko na tumayo.

"Oh, palaban. I like it." Nagtawanan ang mga kalalakihan.

It looks like they are trying to molest someone. Even though I would like to barge in and save that woman, maybe I should really just mind my own business.

"Ahhhhh!"

Isang malakas na sigaw ang namayani sa buong bar. My attention was drew again to the scene.

Binibigyan ng matalim na tingin ng babae and mga lalaki habang hawak-hawak ng babae ang braso ng isang lalaki at mukhang gusto niyang baliin ito.

My eyes widened when I realized how familiar that woman is to me. She is wearing a red dress just like how she wore it in my dreams.

Mabilis kong binaba si Chase at lumapit sa dalaga. There were so many people in the bar. Marami akong nabunggo na mga tao but then I quickly said 'sorry' to them before I walk away. Nang makarating ako sa pwesto ng babae kanina, she was already nowhere to be found.

Tumakbo ako papunta sa exit ng bar but I also didn't saw her. How come she left so quickly?

Seki's POV

A smile formed on my lips as I open my eyes, welcoming a new day again.

Napatingin ako sa kalendaryo.

It is already the start of my college life. People told me that college is one of the most memorable memories in their life and I want it to be memorable too.

Sana lang ay hindi ako atakihin ulit ng sakit ko.

Napatingin ako sa salamin and I was already not surprised when I found myself wearing a red lacy gown. Mukhang pumunta na naman ako sa bar kagabi.

I tried to reminisce what happened but all I could remember is when I pissed off a bunch of men when I tried to fight them after they tried to molest me.

Mabilis akong naligo at nagsuot ng casual attire. Just a t-shirt and pants will do. Sabi nila ay wala namang gagawin ngayong araw maliban sa introduction and welcoming of freshmen students. But better to be ready than sorry.

Nilagay ko sa maliit kong backpack ang ilang mga kailangan ko before I leave my small apartment.

"Seki!" I immediately look at Khite after he called me.

"Ready?"

Tumango ako sa naging tanong niya, "I am always ready."

Nakangiti siya at nagthumbs-up sa akin. Mukhang masaya na naman ang lalaking ito dahil nakabalik na ako sa normal.

"Yung personality mo na si Red, sakit talaga sa ulo. Can you please stop awakening her?" Reklamo niya habang sabay kaming naglalakad pababa ng apartment.

"You already know that I can't control who will show up in any of my personalities. Masyadong magulo ang pagkakaroon ng multiple personality disorder. But it somehow helped me, especially Red's personality."
