Chapter 2,Episode 13:A New Beginning

264 Words
Angie walked for what felt like hours, her bags heavy with her belongings. She didn't know where she was going, but she knew she had to get out of the house. As she walked, she felt a sense of freedom that she hadn't felt in a long time. Eventually, Angie found herself at a small hostel on the outskirts of town. She checked in, grateful for a place to rest and regroup. The hostel was basic, but it was clean and quiet, and Angie felt a sense of relief wash over her. As she settled into her new surroundings, Angie couldn't help but think about her mother. She wondered why her mother had abandoned her, why she'd left her to deal with the complexities of her stepfather's family alone. Luckily, Angie's mother contacted her, and they spoke for a while, sharing tears together. Angie's voice trembled as she poured out her emotions, recounting the struggles and loneliness she'd faced without her. Her mother's gentle sobs echoed through the line, a balm to Angie's battered heart. As they spoke, Angie's tears flowed freely, a mix of sadness, relief, and longing. "Mom, why did you leave me?" she whispered, her voice cracking. Her mother's apology was laced with tears, and Angie could feel the weight of her regret. "I'm so sorry, baby. I'll make it up to you, I promise." Angie's heart ached, but with her mother's words, it began to mend. Her mother told her she was coming to pick her up, and Angie couldn't wait to feel her mother's warm arms around her again.
