At the fourth and fifth paths, Adobea could speak no longer. She had mufflers all over her neck and her steps were measured. Gaither, because of the cold in Rome, could bear it a little longer. “We must go down quickly,” said Adobea. “I can’t stand the cold any longer.” “I’ll keep you warm.
