Song for the chapter: Never been in love by BlaqBonez. Martha's POV The wind howled softly caressing my skin and reminding me of home. Home was in the bottom of the south Atlantic ocean. Almost toward south poles. It was a place no mortal had ever been to except for the chosen few. I had been exiled from home on account of beheading my ex fiancé, Matieu who was a corrupt merman and a village Chief who already had over eighty wives. Banishment from home forever was a small price to pay which I preferred to been chained and bound to him for all of eternity. I walked briskly, my mind focused on one thing. Getting to Georgina. During our lectures, my eyes had drifted out of our class to the windows as I had been bored. Most of what we're being taught, I learnt ages ago. You can't be over a thousand years with seventy percent of your lifespan spent on land and not know about these things no matter how daft you were. Back to the topic at hand. I had seen an almost familiar Italian breeze through and I knew he probably had been the one Gina had seen. He also was someone I didn't want to antagonize so I decided I was going to stay out of his way and so was Gina. And that had been how I found myself trailing Gina and ended up having the biggest shock of my entire existence. Gina was definitely screwed. Nico's Pov She wasn't happy to see me that I could tell, with the way her eyes slanted like that of a wild cat to the way she stood with both legs braced apart. She left hand moved towards me in a blur that if I were human I wouldn't have seen the attack. I caught her hand in mine, using the momentum to push her body against mine and wrapped my hand around her waist. "I should have known you were the one following me" she spat with venom " why the heck are you here" "Cos I want to be tesoro" I purred into her ears elated when I felt her tremble in my arms. A just like that she pulled out of my arms her eyes turning hard. "Who the hell are you, What do you want from me?" She asked furiously. What did I want. I put a finger under my jaw pretending to think about my wants for a second. "Just like I thought, you are not worth my time" she spat and starts to leave but I grabbed her left arm holding back. "What?" "You asked me who I am and what I want" I looked into her eyes. " My name is Nicollo Manchini and all I want is for you to be my bride, my beloved for me to love for eternity" I whispered. Her eyes widened and she took a step back. "I'm sorry I don't do love, I've never been in love and I don't ever want to" she said each word breaking my cold heart. I watched as she slipped into the shadows and was gone before I could raise my eye. "Damn it" I swore. I now have a new mission. To make Georgina Roberts to fall in love with me. *** Unknown POV The night was brighter than usual with the full moon out. An owl hooted alerting me and the others it was indeed time for our gathering to commence. A flock of vultures descended from the rooftops they had been perching on yo our meeting point; Under the canopy of a thirty year old mango tree in a secluded are of Ngwa High school. I watched as these vultures transformed from their wretched birdlike form to their human forms. Male and female each. All were dressed in black like the feathers of the birds they loved so much. I despised Vultures but I loved these guys. Not because they were decent people but because they were my coven and also were as evil and callous as one could ever wished to be. They gave me the vile feeling of being at home for we created havoc amongst the defenceless mortals and we enjoyed our power them. But as much as I would like to tell you more about my family, I'd rather talk about the problem at hand... "How did this happen, you assured me he'd never find her ?" I spat furiously, they were supposed to keep an eye on him and ensured they never met. "Your eminence, we did, however we never expected him to find her here and we rushed here the moment we found out" Maxim a British Witch said with his head bowed low as he feared to raise my wrath on him. I sighed, if I were to be honest, I should have renewed the hex I had put on him five hundred years ago but I had believed it to be effective still. Or maybe it was time to find his beloved. I shushed the tiny voice that hissed that warning in my head. It was the voice of my crow. It'd whisper meaningless words into my head. If it were possible I would have it silenced forever. "Find out whomever she is" my voice rang out without authority "then put an end to her, vampire or not" ***
