Apparently being in almost dying situation can make you more attentive in the class. For the class of supernatural threats I was suddenly paying attention. I had no Kasper to guard me now as he was suspended and all but I knew he kept a constant eye on me from somewhere.

Today they were teaching about Grinch, evil Santa twin kind of thing all gross green in colour. Killing it was simple and it was becoming slowly difficult for me to stay alert in the class. My mind was too tired right now from all the over thinking and worry. My condition was growing worse day by day and I was afraid that one of these days I will walk in the class and everyone around me will die.

Celine has been keeping a distance from me and I could sense the fear in her eyes. She was the shy beautiful girl everyone wanted to date but she kept to herself. In some ways, I could relate to her but the problem was there were times she annoyed me. She has developed a new interest in Jayden.

"We have an assignment for the knights in training." The announcement broke my thought process and I was immediately awake.

Few of us who signed up for the training and followed Luca out and collected in the hall where we had our virtual test.

"You all are to report immediately for the emergency. Many supernatural creatures broke out from the royal prison and are attacking the place around the palace and might even enter in. Palace is guarded by royal guards but you are to take care of other suspected areas, understood." Everyone nodded in unison though fear was evident on their faces.

Immediately Kasper walked in and Jayden joined him with few others.

As if we were a group of close friends, they both came and stood next to me. I felt a trembled run through me as they stood close to me and image of the dead flowers came to my mind. For a moment I had trouble breathing.

"Are you fine?" Kasper asked and they both looked at me with concern.

I nodded not sure I could speak with confidence then.

"Divide in groups and take location slips from me. Remember not only this is life-death matter, this also ensures that your position among Silver Knights." Luca looked shaken up and I knew it was serious.

We were at healers point. Injured supernatural were an easy target and they might need blood and medicinal supplies. Two groups of three people were here. My group was same as ever, me , Jayden and Kasper.

"Split up?" I asked and they reluctantly nodded.

We started moving into different directions to take care of the danger as fast as possible. My first encounter was with a fairy. Do not , in any case, assume that fairies are sweet kind creatures because this fairy was a runaway from prison.

She was dressed in something fancy surely stolen from someone since she can't go shopping right after the escape. Her raven black hair was working for her somehow as a strand extended and gripped my wrists. I used it like a skipping rope and jump through them making her yelp in pain.

I was good at using air magic now so I kept her unbalanced by throwing stuff at her with help of air. To kill her I had to stab her heart which was harder than said. She was fluttering here and there and she was as big as me so I was already losing all my energy on one creature.

So I decided to use medicinal tools here. I filled a needle with a liquid that said Thiopental, used before surgery to make you fall asleep. I had a good aim so I shot it at her neck somewhere near a vein. After few moments, she stumbled down. Grabbing the opportunity I charged forward and plunged the sword in her heart with force.

Killing her hit me with an energy and I flew back hitting my head on the wall, not too hard but it hurt. I was not sure what happened but my eyes landed on the veins near my wrist and noticed dark green colour on my skin. Totally in panic mode, I felt tears welling in my eyes. I heard a scream and I tried to put myself back to sense.

I walked out and felt uneasy for some reason. There was a woman and a vampire was sucking her blood. I went closer drawing out some handy holy water with me. I threw some at the vampire who hissed at me but backed off and it took few minutes for me to kill it. For an hour I fought relentlessly with some zombies, vampires, rabid wolves- werewolves to be exact and even some grinches.

But I never once used my hands scared of the uneasy feeling in my heart. We were done with our task when I saw a dark Nephilim born off human and a fallen angel most probably evil. The Nephilim can leave a mark on human baby making it an evil mind washed soldier. I don't know if the infant in his hand was infected but I just ran forward to kill the Nephilim who are super strong.

Desperate here I held its hand and it was started to combust looking really shocked. The baby was falling I couldn't catch it so I just commanded air to hold him. I stood there with cold hands and rapid heart beat waiting for someone to help me as I felt the darkness swirl in me. The air magic was weakening the as I carried the child to a safe bed or something.

Seeing a familiar face in front of my face all my energy drained away as Kasper came forward and caught the kid in his hand.

I saw Jayden run towards me with a concerned expression. I turned away from then and looked at my green veins hiding them under my full sleeve jacket.

"Let's go , we are done here," I said hiding the waver in my voice.

"We will take this kid to the academy."Kasper said holding it closely.

I nodded not looking at any of them.

Suddenly Jayden came forward but right now I was in panic mode and I jumped away. Finally, I looked up at both the guys, "Please, I beg of you stay away from me."

And walked away before either of them could press my vulnerable spot right now.
