"Do it," Dorian smiled and patted her shoulder before leaving.
Angela sighed. "Darn, he can be stubborn too."
[Young Mansion]
It's 2am on the dot, but Scott is just getting out of his home gym.
His jersey is soaked with sweat at the neckline, and his breathings are irregular as he made his way back to his room, but he couldn't make a smooth journey.
His father—Silas, appeared from the cellar in front of him, and Scott's countenance changed immediately.
He walked past him, but Silas wasn't ready to let go.
"Scott, stop right there," he said.
Scott kept moving.
"Scott Young, stop right there!!" Silas yelled angrily.
Scott stopped, turning back.
"What now? You banned me from using your airfield in the morning, are you gonna ban me from sleeping in my room too?" He glared.
"We're the only two people in this house. If we can't talk amicably, then it's stupid! I told you I was gonna bring in my new wife this week, and you nearly punched me in the face! You nearly punched me, Scott! You should be glad I only banned you from using the airfield and not the helicopter too!" Silas shouted.
"And the point of this conversation is?" Scott scoffed.
"No matter the height of tantrums you throw, I'm gonna bring her in with her son, and you're gonna respect her totally!" Silas snarled.
"Oh she has a son?" Scott laughed. "Your new wife has a son? Congratulations! You know since mum died, I've wished every single day that you'd follow her!"
"You're crazy!" Silas slapped him.
"It takes crazy to know crazy, dad!" Scott laughed crazily, lip bleeding.
"How did you turn out this way, Scott? Is it your friends? Your good-for-nothing friends in the campus? Remo the gigolo, Frank the drug dealer, and Max who's busy celebrating anniversaries on billboards!" Silas ranted.
"Do not drag my fuckin friends into this! Just warn your wife and her son to stay off my way in this mansion when they arrive, period!" Scott shouted at his father's face and entered his room, slamming the door.
He could hear his father's footsteps as they faded away.
He sat on his bed and eventually lay down, shutting his eyes.
When he opened them two minutes later, he pulled out his phone, and the first notification he saw on the campus gist is...
• Students are to wear the Campus uniform throughout this week.
He sat up.
"Are the authorities deranged? It was supposed to be just yesterday but now it's throughout the week?"
"Nah...this is ass!"
[RIDE University, 8AM]
Lectures starts properly today, so those tangled with morning classes got to school early, but apart from them, students are eager to see the public apology cos it's everywhere.
Tabloids, bulletin, school news.
Everyone knows Cove Fabio—the scholarship student is apologizing to Stacy Montana—the school queen.
Stacy and her girls are already waiting at the school biggest entrance. They came here directly from the airfield.
Trinidad and her girls are just climbing out of their cars at the park, and Trinidad is chuckling with mock.
She came in a bike, as usual.
"To think that you both ditched school yesterday cos of the uniform mandate, but it has been extended to a week. Poor you both."
"Shut up, Trini." Roxy rolled eyes.
"I just wanna fall, roll and die. I mean...I wore uniforms throughout highschool and now in college I have to wear it for every first week of the semesters too? So fuckin—"
But then they noticed the frozen atmosphere, and they studied the environment to see what's going on.
"Oh...the puxxies are around...." Elmira drawled, sighting Stacy and her girls not far from them.
They look too serious.
Several other students are close too, like they're waiting for something.
"Wait...the news is real? Cove is gonna apologize? I swear if he does I'll stop crushing on him," Elmira said.
"My tenant is tough, so I doubt it," Roxy muttered, lighting cigar.
"Doesn't matter what you both think. You don't live in his mind." Trinidad muttered, unsettled.
Dorian's car drove into the park, and thankfully, no one noticed it's him.
He decided against helicopter today cos he doesn't wanna get suffocated again like yesterday.
Angela didn't come with him.
He came with four well-built guards, and as the car stopped, he saw Stacy between her girls at the other side.
He nearly got down to go meet them, but a Uber also drove into the tall gate suddenly.
First time such abomination is entering the gate, and it's obvious who's gonna climb down.
Cove came out, carrying nothing.
No books. No pen.
The only student property on him is the campus uniform.
Gasps. Wide Mouths.
Those who didn't get the chance to see him in person yesterday finally saw him, and nearly all the girls felt a clench in their stomach instantly.
• That's him?
• Hell, he's...
• Hot?
• No, hot is a weak word for him.
• Never seen a sexier guy in uniform. He's effortlessly attractive.
Elmira couldn't blink.
Even Zendaya is stunned. This is her second time seeing him, but she's still affected electrically.
He's ridiculously beautiful, especially that pointed nose.
"Imagine if I post on the campus blog that he lives in my Studio apartment?" Roxy said trickily.
"You'd make them go mad over there, girl." Trinidad responded.
Dorian smiled inside his car, resting his knuckles on his chin.
"He's got aura without even trying," he chuckled.
Cove threw a short gaze around, and his eyes found the Glitz Society where they stood like gods.
He began walking coldly to them, and Stacy removed herself from their middle, stepping forward.
Her shoulders stayed high, her chin raised too, and her lashes danced over her eyes.
"I'm sure you were told to do it on your knees," she said cockily.
Loud enough for everyone to hear.
"Oh...an apology?" Dorian muttered, witnessing everything from his car.
"Kneel, Garage boy!" Kehlani shouted at the back.
"Do you need help? We could kick you to your knees!" Tania added.
"I even want him to crawl," Tasha folded her arms.
Zendaya was quiet.
Stacy tilted her head, her glitter makeup catching the faint glow of the morning sun.
"I'm sorry," Cove said, still standing.
The frozen air shattered.
"No. He did not just say that!" Elmira gasped disappointedly.
"Sorry for?" Stacy went closer, looking up at him.
"For not breaking your jaw totally with that microphone."
Cove replied, flat with his straight face.
Stacy gasped, and Dorian bursted into laughter inside his car.
