Nina Thorne was a changed woman. There was a spring in her step, a lightness in her heart and a wind in her hair. She was a changed woman and this time, she knew everything would be alright. Life had given her a second chance and she'd make sure this time would be perfect.
She'd make amends and move forwards and forget all the pain and the gaping hole she still carried in her heart. She'd forget Adrian and that blinding light that had changed her forever. She'd forget those days of darkness when solitude had been her closest companion and those thoughts that whispered to her from the depth of her mind.
She'd start over anew.
But perhaps...perhaps life had other plans.
