“Evan?” Ryan was clearly confused. “What are you doing here?”
“You didn’t answer my question.” Evan replied to Ryan but his eyes were staring at Chloe, who was petrified.
She would not dare to glance at Mr. Bailey. Chloe was sure that anger was directed at her.
“Who do you think you are to disrupt my date like this, Evan?” Ryan got up angrily.
“Date?” Evan could not believe that. He looked at Ryan then at Chloe. “Are you on a date?” he pronounced the last word faintly.
“Do you also take care of your PA’s private life? It crosses the line!” Ryan stated sarcastically.
Evan turned his glance at Ryan while clenching his fists. He was clearly trying to control himself.
