The Fathership
The father felt a wave of nausea hit his stomach. The air seemed to vibrate for a moment. He sensed it had nothing to do with the battle somehow. He turned his mind back to reality. As though they were reading his deepest fear, the weapons from Thure suddenly unleashed fire arrows.
The father shouted, “Give the signal to pull back.”
As he gave the order, he finally saw Darion's airship coming into view. Darion's ship came alongside the fathership just as all of the fleet was regrouping around the massive ship.
Darion shouted, “The queen seems to be more resourceful than I expected.”
