"Maze get up I have a bad feeling" lilian said.

Before I could even get up out of the bed someone was yelling my name.

I got up off the makeshift bed I made and walked down the attic stairs and walked all the way to the alpha's (aka my uncles) office. He claimed it after my father died saying to the pack that as his brother he shall protect the pack. I thought what he said was a bunch of Bullshit.

The Only reason he is damn alpha is because Lucian wasn't old enough to except the alpha title that dad was going to give him.

"Yes alpha" I answered with my head kept down.

With my wolf hearing I could hear him get up from his desk and walk over to me.

Get ready maze,Lilian said.

I'm ready,I said and blocked the link.

He was right in front of me when I closed the link between Lilian and I.

He raised his hand and then SMACK is the only sound you could hear in the office. I know for sure that later there's going to be a big red mark on my cheek. There will never be a bruise and that is what I love about being a supernatural you always heal faster than a human.

"I thought I told you to get everything cleaned including the cells and my room!" he yelled.

"I'm sorry alpha" I said.

"Don't apologize to me just go get it done, what are you still doing here go NOW" he growled at me.

I left before I could get hurt anymore. I just remembered I still had to go to school so I got my chores done for the day and got ready. I just wished that my mate would come and get me so I didn't have to go through this every day. Yeah right like someone would want a freak like me as a mate.

I walked outside putting on my torn up Nike's. I mind linked my brother to come down for school. As soon as I mind linked him he was already next to me.

"Ready to go little sis" he said smiling at me.

"Yeah let's go"I whispered back to him.

After everything that has happened to me my brother has always been there for me.Through all that has been thick like the beatings I get or through thin times where I have these deadly thoughts.

We made it to school and I smelled the most amazing smell I have ever smelled in my life. I kept walking and the smell kept getting stronger, until I came to a complete stop and saw something that broke the thing that people call a heart.

I knew what was happening as soon as soon as he walked up to me.

"Why must it be you as my mate you are to ugly to be luna" he said.

This fuckBoy was adopted by my uncle because his mate died and he needed an heir for the next alpha.

"I, William wolf blood soon to be alpha of the wolf blood pack,Reject you, Maziken Elizabeth Addams as Luna of this pack and as my mate" he said with venom of hatred dripping off every word.

A searing pain erupted in my chest as he said those words,but I hid the painful expression off my face.

I held my head up with sheer confidence with my brother by my side growling I raised my hand for him to stop And said

"I,Maziken Elizabeth Addams of the wolf blood pack accept your Rejection as Luna and as your mate of the wolf blood pack. Just know I will be back"I added that part before I stormed out of the school and went back 'home' with Lucian hot on my tail.

"Go pack your stuff either run with me or stay here either way I am leaving" i said.

"I am not going any where without you" he said running back to his room to pack.

It was a good thing that uncle was not here to stop me and yell at me.I could not take this pack anymore,for years they tortured me and I am pretty sure Lily is ready to get the hell out of here as well too.

I went upstairs to pack all of my things which wasn't much,a hairbrush,some clothes,a blanket,daily things,and the little stash of $500 I saved just for this moment. Packed it all into my backpack and rushed back downstairs to my waiting brother.

I signaled for him to follow me into the woods. Lucian changed out of his clothes and shifted I had my vampire speed As we started running and didn't look back.

As soon as we saw a road we stopped at the edge of the woods I waited for Lucian to change back. We had been running for hours and it was getting dark so we stopped for the night. We found a cave to stay in ,Lucian changed back to his wolf so he could sleep .His wolf was a dark midnight black with white ears and paws. I was a vampire so I really didn't need sleep so I stayed up and walked around the forest.When I found a pond with a log right next to it I sat down and it was so soothing I started to just let the tears fall. I sat there for a whole hour when I decided to go back over to the cave.

"I'm fine Lucy just had to let some things out"I said while sitting down next to him"lets get some sleep we still have to find a place to stay,we cant stay in the woods forever you know"I said and that was the last thing I said before I closed my eyes. I guess crying my eyes out can still make a vampire like me sleep even at night.
