Losing Control.

"Everyone knows about it," Hunter informed her in a careful tone. "That can't be possible, it just happened and I told no one." Alisson felt tears gather in her eyes. Everything had gone from good to bad so quickly. "Oh Selena, why?" Alisson turned towards her father when she heard his statement. Caleb saw the look on his daughter's face and began explaining, "this morning your mother looked so determined when she told about what happened. She kept on muttering about how she would fix this, but she didn't tell me anything." Alisson was filled with rage when she heard that, "did she say where she was going?" She forced out. "Her friend, Crystal's house. Why? What are you going to do?" He asked the angrily pacing woman. "I'm going to rip her f*****g head from her shoulder and shove it up her...." Hunter disrupted her violent speech right when she started demonstrating what she would do, "Woah, calm down. Believe me, I am just as angry as you are but we have to think rationally." "I'm done thinking rationally. If she wants to be a pest I'll treat her like one." She stomped towards the door, flung it open and took off running in the direction of her mother. "Has she lost her mind? What the hell does she plan to do?" Hunter asked the older man angrily as they watched her figure get smaller. "We should go after her, to stop her from doing something she will regret," Caleb suggested. "Okay, let's." Alisson was filled with a blinding rage. She was going to kill her mother, she told herself over and over again. She sprinted past pack wolves without care, barreling her way through crowds and knocking over anything that got in her way. Every pitying look thrown her way was fuel to her flames of rage. She could feel her wolf fighting for control, her skin pulsed and throbbed in the way it did before human bones morphed into that of wolf and fur sprouted from the skin. She fought it stubbornly though, she wanted to be as aware of the situation as possible. Transforming when she was so emotional would give her wolf too much power and make her operate with animal instincts. This was a human matter and she was going to solve it with human rationality. She stopped in front of her target house and could hear the sound of her mother's artificial crying and the voice of a woman comforting her. She walked slowly towards the door and in a sudden burst of emotion, punched it with all her might leading to it breaking in half and landing on the wooden floorboards with a frightening crash. She walked into the living room and stared at her mother's shocked, tears stained face. She looked at the other woman who had gone pale from fright. Her mother stood up with an outraged expression. "Alisson! What is the meaning of..." "Shut it!" She screamed. Her mother gasped in shock and if the situation wasn't so serious, she would have burst into laughter of how dramatic her mother did it. "What the hell did you do?" "What are...." "And goddess help me, if you bullshit me I will kill you where you stand." "Have you no...." "WHAT. DID.YOU.DO?!" Selena unconsciously took a step back at the sound of her daughter's voice, she realised what she did and tried to put on a brave face, she will not be humiliated by her daughter. "You were the one who came crying to me last night about how your mate cheated on you," She started shaping her expression into a pained one before continuing, "So I did what any good mother would do and tried to set things right." She hunched over and let out a sob. "I dare you." "Dare me to do what?" Selena asked confused, forgetting about her crocodile tears. "Bullshit me," Alisson replied simply and ferociously. "What. Did. You. Do." She asked again. "I thought I could shame him into taking you back by spreading the news of the unfortunate incident." "Take me back?" Alisson asked trying to understand what was going on in the crazy woman's head. "What do you mean by taking me back? " "He sent you packing, didn't he?" "No, I left on my own, I needed to clear my head. You thought he sent me away?" Her mother suddenly looked annoyed, "well yes, why else would you leave your home. Oh, you stupid girl. Have you no sense. Why would you leave if you were not forced to," she screamed. Alisson looked at her mother with devastated eyes, "because he cheated on me, he desecrated the foundation upon which our union was built. He insulted and spat on the sacred union blessed and ordained by the moon goddess, how could you say that?" "Because it was blessed and ordained by the moon goddess," Selena responded with heat. "It is your place to make it work." "And suffer? Am I to make it work and suffer?" The older woman didn't respond as she observed the younger. Her daughter was emotional right now and would finally c***k at the slightest provocation, it was better to behave carefully. Alisson's fading rage was brought back in full force at her mother's uncharacteristic silence. "Well! What do you have to say? Don't be so f*****g silent. After all, you never hesitated to voice your opinions before. Hell, it was more difficult getting you to shut up! SPEAK!" "You're emotional right now and justly so ....." "Oh no, you don't get to have the moral high ground, you don't get to be the bigger person and shame me into giving in. I have had to be the bigger person all my life, I've had to concede to everything and the one time I get to do otherwise, you finally choose to act your age?" She shook her head in a crazed manner, her wolf was clawing more violently to be released and she didn't know how long she could keep her at bay. Her mother placed her hand on her chest and leaned back with a flabbergasted expression, "I am your mother, Alisson and I demand respect." The dam holding back the tsunami of water that was her wolf finally broke. Everything seemed to happen in slow motion as she tore through her clothes, changed into her wolf and let out an ear-splitting howl that resonated around them. She turned towards her mother, who was as pale as a ghost and trembling like a leaf and lunged at her neck with the intent of ripping out her throat. She felt something slam into her side in mid-air which sent her crashing into the wall with a body on top of her. She swiped savagely and blindly at the person with the hope of doing enough damage. "Dammit Alisson, would you f*****g calm down," Hunter complained to the struggling female. Alisson stilled her movements and used that small moment of clarity to change back. She glanced around and took note of her father; who was standing beside the older women and trying to comfort them ( though her mother remained stubbornly resistant to her mate's comfort, even in her obviously shaken form.). She could hear Hunter mutter something in front of her that she couldn't decipher over the ringing in her head. "What?" She asked in dazed confusion. "You could have killed your mother," he repeated, "though I wouldn't mind, imagine what it would look like to our guests if the Luna murders her mother on their first day here," he joked hoping to lighten the situation. "s**t," she responded. "You're swearing a lot today, more than I have ever heard you swear." She groaned and rubbed her head, there was a painful thumping in her head that made her feel nauseous. She blinked slowly at the fading vision and fell into a peaceful unconsciousness.
