Selena is much stronger than her small frame suggests. I struggle against her grip but my head remains, firmly on the sidewalk. My mind races, wondering if there's something I can do, some power I can summon. I'm still panicking as I feel her fangs pierce my neck.
I cry out once and she covers my mouth with her perfectly manicured hand. It doesn't take long. She leans back, her white smile smeared with my blood. She doesn't loosen her grip, however.
