Clay looked at his watch: 6:22 a.m. Suddenly, Wilhelmina rose from her seat, pointing at Sheriff Clayton. “The human is up to something,” she said accusingly. Her chiseled face became a ridged mask of vampire rage as the fangs in her mouth seemed to elongate to a full one-inch length. “And who is this so-called Vampire Master? We hardly know him! He could be in league with the Sheriff!” Wilhelmina added. More angered whisperings came from the crowd. Many fellows among the vampires were transforming into enraged bloodsuckers. Clayton didn't care; he acted very coolly, c****d his shotgun and walked to the spot where both curtains met. While everybody's attention was set on Wilhelmina and the Sheriff, Williams donned the sunglasses and wrapped himself with the dusty tarp as if it were a cape
