Chapter Eight

I was slowly waking up, opening my eyes to the sun setting. I didn’t remember any dreams or nightmares, thankfully. I heard the door click open behind me, my brain snapping to attention. I stood up and stretched before I felt his presence behind me. “Hello, Nora.” “Hi,” I whispered, leaning my arms on the rail over-looking the city. “Can you come with me?” I turned my head slightly to look at him. “Are you asking or demanding?” Guilt flashed across his face. It was gone as fast as it came. “Asking.” Gabriel said. “Come have dinner with me.” My stomach grumbled at the same time I said, “I’m not hungry.” He chuckled, reaching his hand out towards me. I rolled my eyes, straightening up and walking right past him. I heard him sigh before he started following. I realized that I had no idea where I was going, I hadn’t been allowed out of this room. I stopped just outside the door. Gabriel brushed past me, stopping a few steps away. “The kitchen and eating area are this way.” And then he started walking again. I followed behind him silently. I was mesmerized by all the furniture and decorations I was passing. It looked like I was walking through a castle. Gold and royal blue seemed to be a theme here, and I realized those were his family’s colors. He stopped at the top of the stairs. “There are 3 main bedrooms on this floor. The one you’re staying in, mine, and a guest room for immediate family when they visit. On the second floor are 3 other guest rooms for anyone else who’d like to stay, approved by me of course. And on the main floor is the kitchen, dining area, my office, and a living and family room.” By the time he was finished explaining, we had reached the bottom of the stairs. He turned to the right and we walked into the biggest kitchen I’ve ever seen. The room was wide open, with a dining table off to the left and the living room to the right. The entire back wall was windows looking out onto an open terrace. It was absolutely stunning. “Gabriel… this is beautiful.” “Yes, it is.” I turned to see him looking at me. My cheeks turned red and I looked down, not wanting to meet his eyes. The kitchen smelled delicious and my stomach let out another growl. “It’s good to see you up and moving, Nora. I was afraid I’d never get you to eat again.” I smiled at Susan, walking over to take a seat at the table. Gabriel sat straight across from me, as far away as he could. Susan walked over with a plate full of French toast covered in syrup and whipped cream. Beside it had a bowl of fresh fruit and a small stack of turkey bacon. My mouth was watering as I looked up at her and offered my thanks. She went back to the kitchen island and brought Gabriel his plate. He had what looked like an over cooked steak, with a side of green beans and potato salad. He looked at his plate before taking in mine, finally landing his eyes on Susan. “What is this?” he asked. “Why, it’s your dinner, of course.” He scoffed. “Why does she get all that delicious looking food and all I get is this?” Susan swatted the back of his head before walking away. “Are you trying to tell me your food isn’t delicious, Gabriel Silver?” She turned to look at him, one eyebrow raised. “Well, no…” “Exactly. Now stop talking and eat your meal.” I couldn’t help but giggle. I tried to hide my laughter behind my hand without looking at him. “And you…” Susan said, pointing her finger at me. “There will be nothing left on your plate or you won’t be leaving this table until it’s emptied. There will be no more of this starving yourself nonsense.” I nodded, shoving a strawberry into my mouth. I looked over at Gabriel to find him already watching me. Well, not me in general. He was watching the way I put the strawberry in my mouth. As if he knew he looked too long, his eyes met mine, and they were darker than before. I cleared my throat, causing the heating moment to pass. “So, Nora… do you want to tell me what happened with Rae and why she’s no longer allowed in my home?” “No.” “Nora…” I put my fork down and swallowed. “Gabriel…” I said, my tone matching his. “That’s enough, you two!” Susan said pointing between us. “Zip your lips and eat your food.” Neither of us said another word for the rest of the meal. I was really struggling to finish everything Susan had given me. I pushed my plate away, leaning back in the chair. “I can’t possibly take one more bite, I’m so full.” I looked over to see a huge smile plastered on Susan’s face. “That’s good enough for me, Miss Nora. You did well.” I sighed in relief. I stood up, picking up my plate and carrying it over to the sink. Gabriel cleared his throat, making me glance up at him. He too, had stood. “Come with me, Susan can finish cleaning this up.” “But…” “Don’t worry about it, dear, I’ve got this. You go get to know your big, bad wolf a little better.” I rolled my eyes but walked up towards his side. “Do you want to sit outside with me for a while, or would you rather go to bed? Tomorrow’s going to be a long day and you still need to pick a dress.” “I’d like to go back to my room now.” He nodded and motioned for me to walk in front of him. I left the kitchen and headed upstairs, Gabriel close behind me. A few steps from the top of the stairs, there was one of the bedrooms he was telling me about. The door was slightly open, so I assumed it was the guest room. Before I could walk past it, Gabriel gently pushed me through the door, closing it behind us. “What are you doing? I want to go back to my room.” “This is your room.” He clicked the door and walked past me into his own bathroom. My stomached dropped. No, this was his room, and he just locked me inside it. I tried to turn the door handles when I heard the water turn on, but there was no escape. I heard him chuckle, spinning around to see him shirtless leaning against the bathroom door. “Let me out, Gabriel.” “That’s not going to happen, wife. I have given you lots of time to adjust to your new home, and now I want you in my bed. This is the only place I’d like you to sleep from now on.” He turned his back and closed the bathroom door, leaving me stunned. I shook myself. There was no way I was going to let him win. If he wanted me in his bed, I was going to be in his bed. And I was going to make it harder than hell for him to be in it, too. I walked over to the closet remembering that Susan had told me my clothes were brought over this morning. That means the lingerie I had bought back in Austin was still in my things somewhere. I had planned on wearing them to seduce Mark for the first time but we never got that far. Ah ha! Found them. I quickly stripped out of my clothes, putting the skimpy lingerie on, and walked out to crawl in bed. I wasn’t expecting it to be this comfortable, but I guess I shouldn’t have been surprised knowing who Gabriel was. I pulled the sheet up around me when I heard the water cut off, some of my confidence slipping. I closed my eyes, wishing that I could be lucky enough to fall asleep before he came out. I knew that wasn’t going to happen. I heard the door open and the light flick off. He chuckled, “I know you’re not asleep yet, Nora. You’re breathing too quick.” I opened my eyes and was shocked when I saw him standing there wrapped in a towel. His hair was still wet, dripping down onto his chest, running beneath the towel. I followed one of those drops until it disappeared. Meeting his eyes again, I instantly knew I shouldn’t have done that. He looked like he was ready to devour me whole. Keeping eye contact, he walked over to his side of the bed. Before he climbed in, he dropped his towel. My eyes widened at the size of his erection. “Do you like what you see, wife?” I gulped, turning my face away. He chuckled and laid on the bed, draping the thin blanket over his waist. He reached over and turned off the light. The light from the moon outside was shining through the windows. It was just enough to see Gabriel’s silhouette, laying there. “I’m not going to bite... hard.” He whispered. I felt his hand brush against mine under the blanket. I quickly pulled it away. “Don’t touch me, Gabriel.” He turned onto his side, resting his head on his hand. I could feel his eyes caress me over the covers. He slid his hand forward, running it over my stomach. I turned away from him, giving him my back. “I don’t like to play these games, Nora.” He said in a low, dangerous voice. “It’s been a long time since I’ve gotten my rocks off, and you’re purposefully teasing me with that little number you’ve got on. Don’t think that I can’t recognize tiny lingerie on a woman’s body when it’s right in front of me.” “You won’t touch me, Gabriel. I am not a toy that you can play with. It’s already bad enough that I’m stuck in this prison, I can wear whatever I want to wear when I want to wear it.” I knew I said the wrong thing when the next second, I was flat on my back and he was sitting on top of me. His knees and legs were pinning my arms down by my side. I saw the rawness of hunger in his eyes, he didn’t even bother to hide it. His hardened member bounced against my chin. “You will do what I say, wife. You will wear what I tell you to wear, you will let me touch you when I want to touch you, and right now, I want to feel your mouth around me.” He grabbed his member, giving it a few pumps before tapping it against my lips. My eyes were widened in shock and horror. “Open up.” He said. I shook my head no. I refused to give him anything he demanded sexually. His hand reached behind him, when I felt it touch my inner thigh. “Stop,” I whispered. He moved his hand inwards. I knew my panties were already soaked, even though I didn’t want to be turned on by him. Just before he slid under the material separating his fingers from my flesh, he gave me the same command again. “Open. Up.” I knew I didn’t have a choice if I wanted him to keep his hands off me. I slowly opened my mouth, not taking my eyes from his. He leaned forward, sliding his member in my mouth. “Suck.” Tears filled my eyes. I suctioned my mouth, causing him to let out a groan before he started rocking back and forth. I could feel him hitting the back of my throat so I closed my eyes, praying it would be over soon. His hand grabbed the back of my head, gripping into my hair as his pace increased. I could feel him swell before my mouth was filled with hot liquid. The tears were freely falling now. He let go of my hair to grab my chin. Slowly, he removed his member from my mouth. “Swallow.” He said. As soon as I did, he rolled off me, grabbing his shirt off the floor beside the bed. I couldn’t move. I was disgusted with the act I just participated in and I wanted to scrub my mouth clean. Gabriel laid back in the bed, closing his eyes with a sigh. “That was nice.” He said, before turning over. I waited several minutes, silently crying, before I got up and made my way to the bathroom. Once inside, I brushed my mouth twice, using Listerine for a little extra clean. I turned the light off before opening the bathroom door, and walked over to the closet to put real clothes on. I didn’t want to sleep in the same bed as him, so I walked over to the door to see if it was still locked. It was. I sighed, resting my forehead on the door to collect myself, before turning into the room to take a look around. It was hard to see all the details but it looked similar to the room I originally woke up in. There were a few more personal items in here, photos of his family growing up. I grabbed my pillow off the bed and a few extra blankets, and went to lay outside on his balcony. I curled up in the chair and closed my eyes. It didn’t take long for sleep to take over.
