Uncovering Truths

I gasp at my dad. I want to believe that this is all a dream but as much as I want to, it isn't. This is me, this is the real me. Not the human girl that has only two goals, to finish medicine course and have a happy family, a normal one. Now I have to face the fear of reality.

"How come you were my parents? You're not either vampire or a wolf dad" dad smile at me faintly and with sadness in his eyes. " come, we'll show you. I think its the right time now for you to know the truth" he led me to the basement where I saw my mother doing somewhat liquid in a pot. He look at my dad and to me, and sad smile is also evident in her face. Ahe then followed us when we then turn to another secret door, this door was really like a wall with nature paint. But in reality its a paint that was alive, vines with thorns were scattered over the door and dad prick his finger into the thorn that what I thought was the biggest one. The door suddenly opens and it revealed a new room with a little pond in the center. My mom put some liquid in the pond.

" honey the answer to your question a while ago is in there. I want you to drink this" she then handed me a red liquid which my guess was blood. I gag just by looking at it. "I understand honey you're still adjusting but what will happen to you will take a lot of your vampire energy, you'll soon become weak. I'll explain later honey, just please drink?" she assured me. As bad as I don't want to my gut tells me to drink it. I shakingly reached the cup of blood from mom and pause for a moment before closing my eyes and drinking it fast. The metallic taste that I was waiting for, tasted like a sweet apple juice in my mouth. Oh so this was how blood taste like if you're a vampire I mentally talked to myself.

I then looked at mom my eyes determined to know what the truth behind is. She motioned me to walked to the pond. "put your face close to the water until you will see a light" i did what she said and when I saw a light I was immediately pulled by a wind into the water. My heart was racing fast as I opened my eyes and saw that I was on another world, and another time. I scanned the area, I was in a forest. I walked straight ahead and saw a sign "Redeo City" I follow what it seems like an entrance and as I reach the gate, I saw two guards with red eyes. Vampire world I said to myself. I thought they would noticed me but no,guess I was invisible and time travelling. I went to open the door but my hand just went through the lock. Oh nice, I just went straight ahead and then I heard it "Dianna my baby" a whisper that followed by a faint cry of a baby. I followed the babys cry until I went into a house which seems like a house with vampires that has high rank. I sped up to where the cries where coming from. I suddenly faced with a basement door and as I open it there were no people but I still a cry and then I saw it, a secret door just like our door with nature paint. I went through it and saw her, a woman with a baby in her hands, then I saw my scar in the baby's left back, a wolfs head but a vampires face with fangs. I suddenly heard someone shouting. "where is she?!" then i heard every door on every floor being bang opened. "search everywhere!! “ i heard him again. Then suddenly my moms eyes widen in fear and nervousness. Thats when I saw my foster mom and dad at the side of my biological mom. Exchanging looks, my mom kissed me and whispered." i love you always baby Dianna, I promise I'll wrote to you on your 18th birthday" then she silently cried and hugged me. She gave me to my foster mom and my dad gave another baby to her. My foster dad sprinkled again powder everywhere, to hide my wolf scent and to hide theirs. A portal suddenly opened and a vampire nurse came. My dad seems like injecting some fake memories into her and he whispered something and held his hand up. The walls suddenly changed into somewhat like a hospital delivery room. My mom and dad nod to my biological mom and she smiled saying "For a good future", Just then I was pull again by a wind and when I open my eyes I gasped for air, and lift my body from the pond. I look at my mom and she went to me with a towel. "are you okay honey?" I didn't answer my mind was stock at the scene of my biological mom saying goodbye to the baby me. She's the one that gave me the necklace and the letter. I cried, she cannot show herself to me why?.

"why did she have to do that? Why do she has to gave me away?" i asked getting confuse, sad and angry. "your mom Rose was the vampire queen" my foster mom started explaining I turn my head towards her, what?. "She and her vampire husband Cane was married to just strengthen his power. She was hesitant, and scared because Cane can smell that she was going to have a werewolf baby. Because I am, my husband and your biological father is a witch. I sighed in relief, i thought for a second that they were murderers, thank Goddedd I'm wrong.

"my mom is still alive right? I received a letter with the necklace a week before my 18th birthday" I asked them, and they smiled. "yes honey, we felt her but she didn't show up, that's for our protection also, you see if she showed up Cane can feel that his wife has gone into another world and he'll start investigating"

"My mom was safe right?" I felt sad knowing that my mom was living with a horrifying husband. My foster parents nod. "honey, you go take a shower first and change. “Dianna wake up!! “ my wolf roughly wakes me up, she howls and whines for me to wake up." Bang! " I was awaken by a gunshot. A gunshot from our kitchen. I only catch a smell of for a second but I'm sure that was a smell of something different " I heard a man's voice, my foster mom was dead? I sob but then a connection suddenly hits my head "let him in" my wolf commanded. "honey, its me your dad please stay quiet" i heard my dad in my head

"what are you talking about!?! You range here in our innocent house and killed my wife, for what?! A scent you thought you smell?! “ my dad asked angrily at the man

I heard him got hit. They continued kicking him while mindlinking me, i wanted to go out and help him but I know I'm no match for them. I quietly sob.

Dad continued" There is bag there containing all you need. We want to tell you so many more about your parents but we don't have time write all of it,. Im sory honey you need to do it on your own, we will always be here beside you no matter what"

then I heard another loud bang. Just then our connection broke out. "search the area again" the mans voice said and I hear them opening every door in the house except mine. 1 hour of searching and they left. I waited for the right time to go outside, when I felt they all were really far from here. I saw the powder my dad used to hide my scent, I used it to my body just in case. I slowly went to the kitchen and saw horror.The glasses were shattered, all of our things were ruined. Our frames, our memories. Just then,I instantly stumble on my knees when I saw them. My parents lifeless body. " no no no no" i whispered to myself. I slowly went to them and hugged them. I hugged and sob continuously as I feel my eyes letting all my tears out. I kissed their forehead once more, I'll avenge you. I look at outside and saw the moon. I'll find out my identity and ability. I'll trained on my own, and when I'm strong. I'll look for him. My eyes felt dark, my aura was suffocating, my skin whitens and I felt my fangs growing, wanting the blood of that murderer. I catch a glimpse of a mirror and saw myself. This is me, the new me. I need to fight for my parents, for my life, and for my revenge.

I cried and cried until all the tears stop. I gather my strength to think what to do next. I have to be gone as soon as possible. I went to the basement and to the secret door that leads to the pond. I saw some of my things and a letter.

I cried again as I read the letter. After I muster myself up, I did what my parents told me. As I sprikled the green powder their bodies slowly vanished into thin air. I stood their watching my parents being gone, all our memories, all our bondings, their smiles, their laughter ecoed inside my head and my wolf howl in my head. We were heartbroken.

When their bodies are completely gone, I started burning the house. I ran outside as the fire gets bigger. Our house was in a isolated area beside the road. Its a good thing no cars are driving here at night. I went to the forest in front of as and I watched my house gets eaten in large fire, I watch there silently beside a large tree. A portal suddely appeared beside our burning house.

I let my guard up and hide behind the tree, a man went out the portal with 3 guys behind him. He murmur something and raised his wand in the air, he struck it in our house and the fire instantly stop the fire, but its too late almost 80 percent of it became ashes. I can sense his aura getting dark. He looked around, its a good thing I wore all black hoodie and pants. I tried not to make a noise, he was furious when he didn't spot anyone. "Master Harold, we can't sense anyone here" his follower told him. Harold that bastard, he's the one that killed them. My wolf wanted to come out and she ranges in anger but I pushed her inside my head. I was wearing the necklace also thats why she can't have control of me. I remained there even with the ranging anger inside me.

" Master we found this" another follower approached him. He hand him a blood bag that was opened. He then smile like he has won something , "its a vampire then". My heary began pounding as he realizes that the hybrid was a vampire. He throw the blood bag and open the portal again. Once they were gone I took a last glance of our burned house and went inside the forest.I need to fight, I need to stay strong I keep telling myself. I took the map and talk to Jane in my mind."Jane where to?" just as my parents said my wolf will know where to go. "heart of the forest Dianna" I nod and when I approached the heart of the forest I stopped when I saw the same nature paint in our basement secret door. I prick my finger to the largest thorn and it opened. It was another world, I stood there thinking if I should go in. "Lets go Dianna, this will what your parents would want" Jane said and without hesitation I went.

The portal started to close behind me and I watched it as it turns to thin air. I look in front of me and saw a forest. Where am I? I thought to myself and I walked up front and then realization hits me when I saw a sign "Redeo City". I'm in the vampire city.
