When they were finally through with all the greetings and shown to their rooms, Daniel felt a sense of relief and knew Kysenia must feel the same, like a massive boulder had been lifted from his shoulders. The intensity of that welcoming committee had been overwhelmingly stressful even to him.
The rooms they were given was a whole floor of one of the vast towers. It held a communal area, like a living room with four bedrooms off to one side with a bathroom, down a short hallway. There was another short hallway on the opposite side that led to the master suite. Daniel followed Kysenia through as Aiden sorted the luggage from the servants and sent everyone off to their rooms.
